It is a shame, but he broke the 11th Commandment :
Thou Shall Not Get Caught

and with the regular tests (having failed 2 before) he had to know he would be tested.

Best of luck to him, I really wish I can see him play on Sundays

People need to stop feeling bad for this kid, he put getting high as his top priority over his teammates. He was given a second chance over and over, apparently he couldn't get it through his head that if he wanted to smoke weed he couldn't play football. He chose getting high as more important in the end, you can't seriously feel bad for him. He'll continue to make the same mistakes in my mind, no doubt.

I don't feel bad for him, but at the same time I still hope he uses this as turn around point to get serious about his potential career in the NFL.

I will miss him and his shyish smiles. I will also pray for him. I do understand his background. I wonder too if based on his social experiences, TM feels more 'safe' when faced with pressure associating with those types his mom and dad associated with contributing to his poor judgements. Also, I am curious about the genetics of having both parents with highly addictive behavior.
Again, I will miss him and hope that he can beat these demons he's faced with. He is a likable kid and you know he tries. TM we love you and please know there are greater powers you can turn to when feeling weak who will always be there for you too.

You will always be a Tiger in my heart!

+1

I feel bad any time something bad happens to an LSU kid, and he loves LSU unlike some of the others that have made mistakes. I do not feel sorry, Hopes he rises above this.

He smoked a little pot, wgaf? Hell I'm pretty sure O Bama smoked some and he is president of our country. Hypocritical, I think so!

Just look at the shape of our country and you can see the results of a pot smoking President.Sorta like the Honey Badger results.A major train wreck.

I'm just SAD that the greatest playmaker to ever wear an LSU uniform in my lifetime, will not be wearing that uniform this year. It was a huge source of PRIDE for me to see Tyrann in purple and gold, the proverbial iceing on the cake.

LSU football will be fine but I'm going to really miss that guy and will always wonder what could have been. When you get older like me, you have seen so many kids who couldn't handle their business, and elevated the kid stuff over the MAN stuff, it's just painful to watch when you are so in a guy's corner.

And my wife is moping around more than me...

hb7 does not owe lsu fans anything, but he let his team down, put himself before the team and for that I feel bad for his team mates and not for him

Tm did let his team mates down but this goes both ways.
Did his team mates let him down a little too?
"for I am my brothers keeper"
The team leadership had to know TM had a problem. Should they have been helping him?
I understand the decision was TM's alone to make but did the team try and look out for him and assist him in fighting off the temptations?
If the freak and sonic showed up at my house and said that they would kick my arse if I kept getting TM high , I would stay away from TM.
I am not blaming the team, it was TM's decision. I know he had a lot of personal issues but did the team try and help him as much as they could have?
Maybe the team leadership can try and keep younger players from having this happen again.
Good luck TM. You will always be loved at LSU.

Love the Honey Badger and wish him the best. I think it's BS for smoking some weed....but rules are rules and we all have to play by them at some point in our lives.
