I thought it was a good call. What i was most impressed with was how Sheppard made a great play on the next play to stop Auburns back for a two yard loss. The same thing with Alem after the roughing call with the sack on Todd. Both players did great job of redeeming themselves.

KS was pleading his innocence immediately after the play. That is usually a great indication of guilt IMO.

KS played a great game and I'm don't really think it was a cheap play just an overaggressive one.

if he wouldn't have spun the Auburn player around and then thrown him on the ground 5 yards out of bounds, it wouldn't have been called. But, it wasn't just a shove or tackle that continued out of bounds. He spun around and looked like he was trying to throw the guy as far as he could.

I wouldn't have called it, even if it was against another team. But, it wasn't a bad call.

it was a good call and the roughing the passer call was bs but i was sure glad to see him make up for it on the next play with that huge sack

Dumb@$$ play by Sheppard. He was so far out of bounds it was just plain stupid. Hope one of the coaches got in his grill for that.

I did not have a problem with the Sheppard call. Overall the refs did a much better job than in past games. Thankfully they did not call a penalty on AU's last offensive play. It wasn't called a penalty on the shot on the QB, but it was close. That would have been outrageous and Tubs was bitching to the refs for not calling it.

it was technically a legit call, but i think the rule is BS, if u have your hands on the guy finish the damn play.

He started to sling him when he was still in bounds...he just followed through all the way out of bounds. Tough call, but the right one. Though if you were Sheppard, it'd be tough to stop in the mid-throw. That's how people break tackles.

The hit out of bounds by Sheppard

I wear LSU glasses too but this was an easy call. It was a late hit by Sheppard. The Auburn player was standing up about 2 yards out of bounds and then Sheppard went through the motion of throwing him down. He could have held up.

Sheppard has to know where he is at on the field. It was the right call and Les agreed. I will never disagree with THE HAT. End of story.
