I don't know about that. He just has the platform to vent his frustrations. He said it himself, he's not a journalist, he is a fan and the "voice of the fans."

So many LSU fans are blinded by what happened recently that they forget that we had the greatest season in LSU HISTORY. And guess what, look at the team we have coming back next year. Miles has built this program. We lost, get over it. It happens, but people like Hebert are only making it worse by destroying the team's image.

meh, Les Miles hurt the program Monday night far more than any words some drunk, former NFL QB could say.
I'm glad Hebert is talking. I hope that Les has to answer for his lack of coaching in the biggest game of his career.
This.

Wow
That was a train wreck for LSU
Hebert was a rantard with a national sound board
Hebert is an ignorant loudmouth and needs to keep his mouth shut. IMHO he just added additional embarrassment to the program that definitely wasn't needed after Monday night. frickin' dumbass.

I don't think he said that 80% want Les gone... only that 80% would trade him for Saban IF Saban was available.
But I am with you. I don't think that many fans want to get rid of Miles even if Saban was available. Most just want to slap him around until he got some sense knocked into him... like a good ole abusive parent.

Exactly.

I can never forget Ole Miss, Tennessee or Alabama Mulligan Bowl. But I do NOT want Saban back. Nor can I think of any other coach I would prefer at LSU. But I DO want to whip Nick and Bama's arse. Les has done it more than any other coach and he will do it again. Geaux Tigahs!

Do you guys really think he would spouting all this if if weren't somewhat relevant and true?
He is a former college and professional football player.
His son has been at LSU for 5 years.
He is more qualified of an opinion than any person that posts here.
I don't like to hear what he is saying either, but frick he's got more inside info than anyone else.
Even allowing for all that, if he had an ounce of class he wouldn't air this out in public. This is all about being butthurt over how he thinks T Bob should have been playing more. Do you think Archie Manning would have done this in the same situation? Hell no.
Hebert is just another trashy coonass from down the bayou. The only difference between him and hundreds of Rantards is someone was stupid enough to put him in front of a microphone.
He doesn't give a shite about LSU, and I don't give a shite about him. frick you, Bobby.

To me it is not a matter of whether he is right or wrong. I do agree with some of what he is saying, but he is hurting LSU and not Miles with this. We talked to several players families during the year because my season tickets are near their section and I have heard many who are not fond of Les and critical of the coaching decisions and player management, but I don't think any of them would get on a national show and say this.

What is the point in him saying this? Why make such a public spectacle after the game and for days after? What is he trying to accomplish
maybe trying to force Les Miles to explain why he gave up on his team Monday night? Les Miles essentially sat on his hands while his team got schooled. He put his players in a position to fail. We ran the exact plays that Bama had planned for, and we ran them all game long. And, Les Miles refused to change one dang thing.
He needs to answer that question. And, Bobby knows that it won't get answered locally because the local media will never ask it. Hence his actions.

I agree here. Bobby does have quite a bit of football knowledge. How much does he have compared to Les Miles? I don't know. Did he truly forget more football knowledge than Miles ever knew? I don't know. That might be true or that might just be his opinion. I don't know. I don't really think the 80% figure is accurate either. But the guy was not saying anything outside of those two points that wasn't true. Sometimes the truth hurts and that's what's refreshing about Bobby Hebert.

IMO Hebert is a pissed parent and needs to shut his mouth

You dont think players/recruits read this?
This is nothing new

His main message was that coaches shouldn't be babied after tough losses. They get paid the big bucks and need to be held accountable for their performance.
Also that he isn't part of the media and speaks for the people. Saying that the people that have put in their hard earned money to LSU over the years and paid a lot of money to go see them play in the championship game and then to see LSU put up the fight they did was inexcusable.

I'm not supporting Bobby, however, a lot of what he said is true...the other side, Miles treated TBob like crap for 5 years, I know this first hand...Putting Lee in meant TBob would go in, TBob snaps for Lee...TBob had been told he would not play...Miles was pissed at him because of Bobby running his mouth...this is the fact
