More excuses. He was brought in as the HC to win more than Miles. You can elect not to judge and you can justify the complete overhaul of the offense by saying that was part of the deal. Thats you.
But none of that matters. He should be judged by every decision he makes. He didnt have to choose Canada and he didnt have to give him complete authority of the offense. If it works out he will get major credit, if its doesnt most of you will continue the excuses and arse kissing.
Being judged by decisions comes with the territory when one sits at the top in any business.

HE STILL DID NOT THOW FOR 16000 YARDS AND 160 TDS. I am strickly talking about the passing game which LSU sorely lacks...

He won't have a line to block for him or receivers to catch the passes. But, yeah, I get what you mean.

Brennan will be one of the best quarterbacks we've ever had

I am not going out on that limb but he showed me something in the Syracuse game. I was not overwhelmed by his HS stats because I have seen too many HS hotshots not make it in the next step up so I have been a wait and see person on my opinion of MB.

In the Syracuse game the OL was getting schooled in the pass rush. There were free runners into the backfield almost every pass play whether they were blitzes or just DL whipping their man. Etling was under constant pressure and it caused him to retreat, scramble, etc and even throw under pressure for an Inc. Brennan came in and had the same free runners coming at him and he unloaded the ball to his receivers for accurately thrown completions. He did this about 3-4 times. He did not get rattled by pressure.

The Int he threw was a catchable ball. I am not sure if the receiver turned the wrong way or if he threw to wrong side but if receiver had turned in it would have hit him in the numbers...

I just don't understand why we don't play to Brennan's strength from HS and just go wide open spread. All these spread qbs look great in that easy arse offense. It kills me knowing I've never got to see us just slinging it like Oklahoma state especially that we have a qb that did exactly that in high school. Man got 3-4 wide every play. Run out of it, all of that. Brennan should be a 3500 yard per year guy his last 3 years. Play to his strength.

Wrong wrong. Bama's QB is anything but a passer. He has a very average arm. Now, he can run like the best RBs but not what you described here...

Give me a break!

Brennan is not slow

Slower than Danny Etling. At least he was in the Chattanooga game. Don't take my word for it, go see for yourself on YouTube.

Elite qb's don't have to be fast. Example, GB's Rodgers. A step to the right, one forward, one to the left, etc. Doesn't have to move fast or far, just be mobile. By the way, not comparing MB to Rodgers, just stating an opinion on fast vs mobile.

I don't think Canada will be here long. Someone stopped the Merry go round w the tackles and I Think that was O.

Play MB because Etling has hit the wall.

Was Brandon Harris really that long ago?

You are correct and maybe I should have stated that differently but I will stand by what I know. It's a been a long time since we've been in this position with a qb who will be here for a minimum of 3 years

Having Brandon Harris vs. Myles Brennan is being in the same position in my opinion

Hell no! We hired a DL coach to be the HC. Do you realize how stupid that was?

If you look at the film closely, I'm now convinced that Myles needs an entire half of football. Second half. He's a very good QB and his decisions are much better, while the ball comes out on time and on point. Get him more time.

The timing needs to be a little more coordinated IMO as well. Set a time to come in and stick with it unless of course he's underperforming. I think this will be the OLs best game. They have been embarrassed and if the OL coach can't do a better job preparing them, his job is on the line IMO. Bring Kevin in this bitch, HOF OL and LSU alumn. I think he could recruit his butt off being well respected in the NE and down south. He knows his stuff and was a physical OLman with probably the best technique from an LSU OLman.

Let's do this shite Tigers!!!

Only a year left and we will be rid of the infestation of incompetence in the Chancellors office, ADs office and running the football program.
