When he came to LSU, in his words, he had to re teach what was left of the team he came into how to how to practice. When you look at his overall success plus his first two years here I am not sure how people think the jury is still out on him.

Some of you guys are absolute idiots! Team had an outstanding season and came very close to going to world series and you want to fire the coach! To even come that close is extremely difficult, so my hat off to the coach and the entire team.

It has less to do with this season's performance than with the pattern Beth has established. She's been at LSU for 14 seasons. She went to 4 WCWS in her first seven years at LSU. That's a remarkable achievement. However, she's 0-7 in her last seven years, while other SEC programs have passed us by. I don't think she should be fired now, but I hope that Scott Woodward does not renew her contract in 2026.

Thank GOD that LSUs AD doesnt make emotional decisions like some
fans do because there would be a new coach after every loss.I hope all

I don't disagree that it might be time to make a change but if you have been calling for her to be fired for 6 years I hope people in your job do not hold you to the same standard that you were holding Beth because you probably would have been fired a long time ago

If you believe CPM retired on his own, you are COMPLETELY mistaken. He was forced out. The difference between Paul and her, he is a HoF coach with a title and played for another. This will be a much easier decision.

This is some disingenuous bullshite right here. She hasn’t made the WCWS since 2017. This is about much more than one loss or even this whole season. They started the year 24-0 and a lot of people still saw this coming. It’s a disappointment and a failure to not make OKC in 7 years in a sport with very little parity once you get past 20-25 programs or so

LSU has the #3 recruiting class in the country for next season including the top pitcher in the country in Jayden Heavener. This year's freshman class was also ranked very high. Saying she can't recruit is ludicrous.

You put too much stock in player rankings coming out of high school. On the field is where the rubber meets the road...that's what counts! So if you think she can recruit the best available players, how come we're out already? She didn't just get to LSU, she's been here for ages and her teams have found ways to fizzle. All show and no glow!
And if she is truly a great recruiter, she must be a shitty coach!

What other LSU coach is allowed to coach travel ball during the summer? If she’s not committed to LSU 365 days/year, then she shouldn’t be coaching at LSU. Would LSU tolerate Jay Johnson coaching travel ball? Torina needs to be fired yesterday.
