No one thinks the tariffs or trade war are good ideas, but I’m not even placing explicit blame on Trump for our long-term economic issues... Decades of war & cronyism will do that to you.

The sole point is that he’s not the savant savior your ilk makes him out to be — though that should have been obvious long before he ran for president.

I won’t beat a dead horse because, all political opinions aside — no one believes there’s anything Trump could do to disengage his loyalists that 2 spun tweets couldn’t fix.

TLDR: I find it bizarre when anyone wholeheartedly agrees with everything a politician does because that is hardly my experience with even the ppl I jive with most in life.

You're barking up the wrong tree. Didn't vote for hm, will not in 2020

I'm just in awe at the Democrat meltdown over the guy. Funniest thing I've witnessed.

I can agree that the sky isn’t falling, the same of which can be said of most contemporary US Presidents thanks to checks & balances in our govt + the constant ebb/flow of right/left.

Bush’s gulf wars actually have an argument for setting off the worst chain of events in modern US history because without daddy, W conceivably never finds himself between the rock & hard place that was 9/11 fallout.

Trump is just polarizing (Obama was too, but probably to a lesser degree) — The democratic melt is only ever as strong as the trump propaganda pulse. They feed each other.

Nope, no chance. Probably sit this one out.

National politics are entertainment, local politics are the only place you'll ever see meaningful change.

I would rehash the points I already made in the quoted post or address all the potential non-Trump-related variables, but whatever — People can decide for themselves which argument is more informed.

Good for you though honestly, I ain’t mad at it.

Oh yeah so all of the Koch brothers wealth is just in assets? I'm sure they don't have at least 10 billion in liquid cash somewhere in a bank account. You're just being dishonest now and you understand damn well what I'm saying.

Then explain to me why at the end of almost every Republican presidency we start hitting a recession that Democrats have to fix. And furthermore explain how FDR rescued us from the shackles of the Great Depression by using free market economy. I'm waiting for your answer

I’ve got bad news for you. The Koch brothers (or any wealthy individual for that matter) are not to blame for your willingness to spend hours on a message board bitching about what other people have and thinking it’s holding you back. Clearly your time is not very valuable.

I’d suggest you step away from the keyboard and try to invest your time on things you can actually control. You will be happier for it.

It's fine elsewhere, and the poor have increased their standard of living.

Actually we have 18% of our population considered wealthy and 26% considered poor. 59% are middle-class and that is a slow decline since 67. Either way we have some income inequality to discuss as well but I'm not sure you'll be intellectually honest about that.

It's valuable education time. There are a lot of people don't realize what I'm saying is true. I'm not bitching about what the Koch brothers do I'm just using them as an example to point out how greed can be a sickness and how that sickness can affect the rest of society. I don't really see why you would have such a huge problem with that sort of discourse.

It's really funny. They are taught to accuse Republicans/conservatives of being uneducated/stupid, when the reverse is actually true. Of course, if all else fails, they are taught to play the racist card.

Education tends to make people think more liberally. I'm sorry that you informed incorrectly but if you don't believe me just look at rural areas with low education numbers and how they tend to vote
