It's only been in recent elections that republicans have won white voters who are lower middle class and union members.
My question is this: why do you dems think you are bleeding support among this crucual voting cohort? They formed a key part of obama's coalition. They voted heavily for bill clinton in 2 elections.
Only now are they billed as racist and dumb. When they supported you, they were "working class activists"
You guys have failed to holds yourselves accountable for why you lost these voters and reliably dem states like mich and penn in 2016.
It had nothing to do with racism, sexism, etc....it had to do with the fact that these blue collar voters looked at the modern dem platform and shook their heads.
you guys fellate china and the tech industry, you don't give a shite about job loss in rust belt areas and coal areas. You think it is healthy to let your children choose their gender. you think it good parenting to give your kids puberty blockers. You want third trimester abortion.
dems used to be more reasonable on these issues.

The left left me a long time ago. I'm not in the trending demographic. Yet, the working lower middle class is a huge chunk of American voters. That class is also the heart of America.
