I think we're going to dominate up front on D...

White will become an All American...

One of our RB's will be emerge as the next star at LSU

and I think Brennan is going to be tossing the rock all over the yard...

Instead of doom and gloom, some of "ya'll"...need to work on your positive outlook...

From a thread I started last night. There is NO question the LSU defense will rock this coming season.

"Breiden Fehoko, Rashard Lawrence, Ed Alexander, Tyler Shelvin and Devin White

Do they give up less or more rushing yards than this past season?

With Greedy and Delpit in their second years, do they play even better?

Tyler Taylor and Jacob Phillips have valuable experience at linebacker with starts under their belts.

Is the LSU defense under Aranda going to be better next season or worse? "

The offense will likely have a better OL, and an upgrade at QB as well. It is truly unreal these snowflakes have list it. I think they were very frustrated with the possibility of a 10 win season, a high ranking, and a very good close in recruiting. It must be hard to be miserable and hope we collapse.

Lol, you start a thread about the dline, but then don't even talk about the dline.

A bunch of hope and pray brother.

It's like a poster said in the thread. "Even if Greedy doesn't get one iota better, he will still be the best DB in the country".

He allowed an SEC leading 25.1 completion percentage in SEC games last year.

Will likely means you don't know shite. You don't even know what players are returning.

The truth is no one knows what the hell is going to happen next year with that schedule. We can be in the hunt for it all or barely squeak out a winning season. Start the season out 3-0 then look out, start the season 1-2 then it will most likely be a very disappointing season. There are just too many unknowns going into it.

The three true freshmen O-linemen who started this past season will be back. The #1 JUCO OT Badara Traore and Damien Lewis the #2 OG will be at LSU next year.

Jonathon Giles will be eligible along with Randy Moss' son at TE.

Sucks doesn't it? LSU is getting better on BOTH lines and what does Eaux do ????

The SOB goes out and hires a guy to be the O-line coach who has a super bowl ring and is known for his lines giving up the fewest sacks in college and the NFL. Horrible I say, just horrible.

I'm with you bro. Even if Shelvin never plays a snap, that DL has some nastiness on the way. If he does play and lives up to expectations, it will mean quality depth that LSU hasn't had since 2011.

Which one?

Just kinda throwing shite at the wall on that one.

He’s a sophomore and going to be learning his second offense in a year.

I would Temper expectations.

I do expect the DL to get even better now that Lawrence is healthy and has another year under his belt. He is a leader and after watching him against Bama, he has the talent to do it against top-talent teams. It all starts with having one dominant player on the D-line and I expect him to be dominant next year due to his talent and attitude.

I really don't mean to disrupt your miserableness, but Curry will probably be the best and this is the guy LSU got from Alabama despite Auburn's staunch pursuit.

quote:

Tae Provens, 3-star RB: Despite a defense fixated on slowing him down, Provens was the driving force of the Madison County (Ala.) offense. The elusive tailback amassed 137 yards on 21 touches and scored on a 7-yard touchdown right before halftime. Provens was also effective in the short-passing game, particularly on screens

quote:

Tae Provens, 3-star RB: Provens turned in yet another big performance out of the Madison County (Ala.) High backfield. This week, the 3-star athlete found the end zone on the ground and through the air, accounting for more than 200 all-purpose yards. Overall, Provens amassed 165 yards rushing on 23 carries and another 62 yards on 5 catches and two touchdowns — a 38-yard reception and a 9-yard run.

I can also post the 74 yard TD by Dare Rosenthal, a DT for LSU's class this year who may wind up on the O-line.

This is the biggest thing besides Breiden Fehoko becoming eligible this year. I hope Lawrence can stay healthy all year.

White already is. He played at an AA level this year and could easily have (and should have) been a Butkus finalist. His being left off of first team and finalist lists was a gross oversight. Anyone who actually takes time to watch him can see that he is truly elite.

I hate to agree but I do. imo, there is always room for opposing opinions and mature discussions. but so many on here are just my kids were in the terrible two stage. one really has to think, even hope, they are actual fans of other schools taking pleasure wrecking havoc and causing unhappiness. It goes way beyond hating the HC. every year it's the same old thing; fire the coach, fire the AD, fire the president, etc, etc. they attack paul maineri too. if these people are really like they portray I feel sorry for America in the future; no constructive dialog, just demands that things go their way.

Wait till next year with a healthy Lawrence and Fehoko wrecking shite on the line. I predict 7 interceptions and less than the 25.1 percentage against SEC QB's this coming season.

offenses have to go through HELL against LSU this coming season. Good luck to them.
