He's Purdue's problem now.

So after Jefferson's poor performance in the fist half of the game, why didn't Lee get a shot??

He had a rough go in the first quarter against Arkansas and pretty much the entire game against Georgia, too (5-13 30 yards and a touchdown).

True. What a lot of folks forget is that those games and a couple others turned on special teams plays by Mathieu. I think we lose the Arky game and Georgia. We probably lose to Oregon as well.

However the in - game discipline for mistakes was uneven under Miles.

Because the circumstances were uneven, every situation is different. If the starter isn't taking ball security in practice seriously, he has very little margin for error. Fournette takes it very seriously, hence the reason he wasn't benched. Surely you can look at their timeat LSU and see that Fournette is a much more disciplined individual compared to Hill.

ETA: Eaux doesn't seem to have the same disciplinary approach as Miles.

You should be benched from posting for spelling the current coaches name like that.

Geeze, can I have a glass of milk, Wally?

Man, get your head out of your arse as far as Miles' arbitrary discipline for in game mistakes is concerned.

I guess Hill wasn't a "serous" player???

Look him up. I think he was.

I guess that's why you're an N.C. State fan.

No appreciation for southern culture.

Les's lack of discipline goes all the way back to the beginning and certainly in the NC season 2007. ie-Tyson Jackson's roughing the passer on 3rd and 18 against Bama resulting in a 80 TD pass on the next play that ignited Bama. How about Rahim Alem's kicking the ball after a 3rd down stop against RKansas which probably cost us that game.
Neither guy was pulled for those bonehead plays.
We had like 15 penalties in that Alabama game.
Always one of my biggest complaints against CLM.

Thank God, we lose that game otherwise...

Great...point taken.

Then please explain why JL wasn't extended the same courtesy when JJ looked like total shite the ENTIRE NCG?

I remember that play, and I called a friend after the game in disbelief. That play did pretty much cost LSU the game.

I think it was also that year or the year before that LSU had to come back against Troy State.

I remember Moreau talking about how "flat" the LSU team was and that he'd never seen a team that seemed as "flat" as LSU.

Just amazing to me that Miles kept his job as long as he did.

Cant protect him now Bee....hes roadkill. The ripple effect of his ineptitude may haunt this team for a few years.

What?

The team still has talent and they didn't have losing seasons. I'm surprised that you would believe that lsu is some dumpster fire because of miles when that isn't even close to being true. It's actually kind of ridiculous to even think that way.

One more example of the stubbornness of Les. He had many great qualities, but the media covering the team finds O to be a refreshing change. Les was always late along with being evasive.

Wasted? If LF7 were at Bama would he have won the Heisman?

And what of all the receivers seeing the field in the last two games that did not and would not have seen the light of day under Miles?

If you're going to recruit players, then play them.

So your thread is just to take pot shots at the national championship winning ex coach?

I'm not surprised considering you are advocating for orgeron to automatically get the job and you said miles wins are all attributed to saban who has been gone 12 years.

The level of intellect in this fanbase is embarrassing

I never used those words. but you know as well as I, canning Miles in the middle of the season (despite being the right call), could mess us up recruiting wise. I'm wondering how many recruits we missed on b/c of his stale and outdated offense over the last few years?
There was damage done these last few years on all fronts. We don't know the depth yet or what effect it will have moving forward.

Les just had like the best 3 year stretch of recruiting in the history of the program if going by recruiting rankings.
