Actually Arkansas not having their starting quarterback and starting right offensive tackle is what won you the Arkansas game

When the defense gives up the most points to them of anyone in the entire season, they did not do their job.

JD is one reason we lost, but was it his job to tackle Achane?

Talk about a bad take… the defense allowed a 200 yard rusher and a ridiculously high percentage of third downs and had zero sacks.

Daniels had one of his “bad Daniels days” (and he’s had extremely good Daniels days), but the defense most definitely contributed to this really bad loss.

how many times did we see JD standing in the pocket for 6+ seconds only to refuse to throw the ball and take a sack or take off running?

so many i lost count

Daniels is not a good QB, he severely limits what we can do as an offense, and this team next year is better off with someone else as Qb

yup

No, defense was embarrassing from Aggy's 1st set of downs onward. Arcane had a freaking Heisman performance against the D & even worse, they couldn't stop a 3rd string freshman QB!! We didn't know it at the the time, but that 1st set of downs was indicative of how the game would turn out...

It’s amazing to see how different people see a game sometimes… That was easily the worst defensive performance of the year.

That can be looked at many ways. Our offense played poor and gave them many possessions. Hell, JD fumbled and allowed them to scoop and score....directly giving them 7 points.

Weigman took chances and gave his guys a chance. JD continued his ultra conservative play. JD, on a 2 pt. conversion try, held the ball and took off running. I laughed so hard because there was absolutely no way he was converting the 2pt play with his legs in that position and he ate the tackle...as if we were getting another down to try it again.

He is the single most conservative QB I've ever witnessed play at any level. Our WR's get open and he holds the ball or runs with it. We keep saying these guys are young when it suits us but not applying that theory across the board. It's definitely hard to keep WR's interested in running great routes when they know they not getting the ball.

There are some that say our WR's have underachieved or they're not as good as advertised. That's BS! I watch film breakdown on youtube after every game. Our guys are constantly open. Even on some of the instances where JD has thrown the ball for a big completion, he often is late in seeing them open or he doesn't throw it until he's comfortable with where they are on the field.

I promise your opinion will change if you watch actual film breakdown. For whatever reason, he just doesn't throw downfield too often. Last night, did you see how long he held the ball before deciding to run? The Oline wasn't the problem. It's his slow read progression and his decision to only throws routes he's comfortable with. I just don't think many fans understand how severely that limits our offense. Teams have begun studying film and have started sitting on the small sample of routes he throws. Even if they get beat on other routes, the defense wins because it's not likely JD will even throw to the open man on routes he isn't comfortable with.

Rushing for 6 yards per carry and we calling plays like 5 is Tom Brady.

Achee ran for over 200 yards and our defensive front got manhandled last night. They set records on Offense for the year.
