GrandDad, You can make an argument that both Orgeron and Alleva recognized this coming (although injuries made it worse) and THAT was the factor justifying the 12 million buy out (to give the new HC time to deal with the mess).
I personally do not buy that explanation, but nothing else explains such a huge buy our for an unqualified HC.

our strength and conditioning program needs an overhaul... something ain't working.... we looked soft and out of shape... not sure what is going on, but we don't have the physical edge and dominance we used to .... time for a change...
Injuries at LSU commonplace now; lack of stamina; team getting pushed around; tackling soft; on and on. Strength and Conditioning is definitely a major problem.

How many times has anyone questioned him on his role in the roster/depth or on actual coaching decisions?

considering a ton of the local media is pretty much in bed with the hire, i don't expect hard hitting questions to be thrown his way, at least now anyway... maybe as the losses accumulate, but right now, them questioning him like that would basically be an admission on their part that they were wrong...

So far he is successfully creating a "Year 0" narrative.

again, because he wasn't really wanted by a lot of the fan base anyway, i don't think he gets that luxury... if it was jimbo, or herman, or another proven coach, OK, i could see that "mulligan" year... but we hired the DL coach that literally no one else was courting.... many didn't want him from jump, don't want him now, and that contingency will only grow

Thanks to the unhinged coach O haters, coach O is the most maligned 3-1 coach in college football. Indeed, they want to fire him already and all he lost is one game in his career as LSU's new head coach.

Moreover, all of his issues are due to the fact that LSU waited too long to fire coach Miles. Yet these people want to torture us to death by constantly complaining that O and Alleva haven't been fired yet.

However, the truth is that those losers don't have any power whatsoever to fire coach O or Alleva. Thus, we are all going to have to listen to those crybabies for the next 10 to 15 years of coach O's career, and it is going to make it almost as miserable as it used to be to watch LSU play under Miles.

it's not quite up to snuff, that is for sure, but i think the real reason it seems so bad is:

4) Injuries and transfers don't help.

No. Syracuse lost last night.

If that one cuse receiver catches that wide open td pass he dropped today is an interesting conversation.

And the point is yes, lsu is 3-1 but barely and won't win many more. That's apparent.

I agree with everything, except I'm not sure Myles is the answer to the future.

"If" it gets better.
Canada is looking like a dude and seems to be in line with his overall average career production. Orgeron was only the worse coach in Ole Miss history.
What could possibly be wrong?

Attrition, due to players leaving, graduating and getting injured, is taking its toll. The truth is that freshmen are seeing playing in record numbers to fill the vacuum.

Whenever a second-rate team like Troy becomes "scary", then you know this season's outlook is bleak.

Yep - They'll blame Miles and anybody else they can think of to keep O on his throne. They'll even blame Miles and praise Grimes.

Yeah, we won. But last nights game was one of those "ugly wins" that fans like you have complained about for years when one of Miles teams won a game in similar fashion.

I'm not a fan of bashing the coaches or the team, but I've enjoyed the hell out of watching posters like you squirm around trying to defend the fricked up product that has been on display the past 2 weeks.

And in another post you claim this is what we get for another 10 to 15 years.

at home... vs. Syracuse...

c'mon man... you can put all the lipstick you want on this pig, but it ain't getting any prettier... we won, so we should enjoy, because wins are going to be few and far between this year...

but if you don't see what's getting ready to come down the barrel, full bore, for us, then i don't know what to tell you...
