@ AU 1994 (Jamie Howard pick 6 festival)
What is funny is recall the BBTM game the next year @TS JH throws a pick 6 that AU defender drops would have been 13-12 perhaps! Thank goodness as we all know how ended!

You left off Ohio St loss in '88

and 1990 saw a few embarrassing losses.

Truth is Archer delivered the rock and Hallman found the bottom with that rock.

I know LSU did well in '88 conference wise, but damn, they showed signs of collapse even if it took till 1990 to become real.

Late Archer and all of Hallman years were the bottom.

Losing a National Championship game is hardly rock bottom.

Was this rock bottom? When this question was asked a few weeks ago on this board I expressed the opinion that rock bottom was the trouncing Steve Spurrier's team gave us the previous year. If you want to call the USM game rock bottom, OK, I will not argue with that. I was at both of them. Thank God those days are over.

Car quest Bowl....
Car quest or Bust. I was at both those miserable games. Arkansas and the Southern Miss game

Wow, that video stirred up the old ghosts of memory. I was on the sideline the night of that USM debacle, barely out of boyhood. I'll never forget the dejected faces of the LSU players as they slinked into the tunnel, ringed by cold bands of empty bleachers and hazed by drizzle. To think that we would be a powerhouse just a decade later.
