No they haven't. Hell, did you watch the USC game? That was my biggest take away. USC was far more intense and physical than LSU was.
The number of times an LSU running back went into the line with a bit of a hole only to be stonked cold and driven back was pretty alarming.
Maybe Lincoln brought out the deer antler spray?

Now we are just a shitty average football program.
Are you in a time warp?
Because this team isn’t a 6-6 team.

Yes

Not that I saw.

these things have been taken out of the game through rule changes.
Boise and Oregon landed some vicious hits last night that were within the rules. Those two teams would have our guys in the recovery center for a month

$100 Miilion + millions in bad coaching hires before Year 3.

CBK is a politician. Watching him gloat about his state of the art performance center and then say his guys were tired against Nicholls was just about the last straw for me and quite frankly pretty embarassing.

LSU at one time was viewed as mean, nasty, kind of grimy almost. Now we are a finesse offensive team and a bend and almost most times completely break defense.

USC dominated both lines last night. Like you would expect a top team to do against an inferior opponent. They look like a top 5 team right now.

There’s your answer right there. Honestly that’s more pathetic than anything I saw on the field last night.

And?
They didn’t dominate LSU.
So what is it that you think that you are saying?

Week TWO and the team is tired? They are intentionally practicing with little contact to minimize injuries. No, that old arse HC is “tired” of coaching apparently and is in retirement mode collecting a huge check from LSU’s high rolling AD. Throwing someone else’s big money at hasbeens is just as lazy.

Totally agree . It’s coming from Kelly no doubt . Say what you will , I think most people will regret this hire by the end of the season . The problem is , we are screwed due to his contract .

We re stuck with this guy for a while. If after year 7 we gotta fire him, send Woody packing, too. At least take his blank check away from him. I think CBK will get this program better if he can improve on recruiting but he wasn’t paid the bid bucks to take 5-6 years to do it.
I’ve got a bigger problem with our AD. Thinking you can just throw big money at big names for success is just lazy. He embarrassed TAMU with that thinking (not that that’s a bad thing) and the LSU board didn’t learn that lesson just because he was a homeboy.

There hasn't been a vicious hit or devastating block through eight quarters of football. An FCS team matched your physicality. BK may have brought stability and maturity to the program, but with it has gone the intensity required to play high-level football. The most alarming part is that he doesn't recognize it. He said the team was tired It's week 2. No one should be tired because of a late night six days prior.
I remember everybody being so happy when we finally got an “adult in the room.” But maybe we just need somebody who sounds like he’s one of us, can rip his own shirt off his back, and is out there doing stretches with his players.
