Me and my friends all have an event in New Orleans at 6pm. We were pumped to go when the game moved to BR, but moving kickoff to 2:30 threw a wrench in our plans. I don't want to spend full price to leave at halftime.

I may still go, but I would be cutting it close staying through the 3rd quarter.

"Are willing"? WTF? Didn't you mean to say "have a want"?

Once again, LSU did not set the ticket prices

I'm well aware. The post was sarcasm.

Since it's technically a road game, I resolved not to leave at halftime.

You don't want to spend all that money on travel, meals, hotels and tickets and leave early! Even if its imaginary expenses.

This was the only Saturday in October that LSU was not playing at home.

There are a TON of events scheduled this weekend (festivals, school fairs, etc.). My kids' school is on of there and I know most of these dads who are working this weekend have season tickets and would normally go. With the amount of people who have volunteered to work all of these events, it has taken a toll on attendance.

Were none of these people planning on watching the game on TV?

Or is LSU football just an 8x a year social function for some?

I clear my schedule for all LSU games, but that's just me. (I realize this is not a point of pride, my priorities are out of wack)

My kid has a Boy Scout camp out. I'd be at the game if not for that.

We have numerous Televisions setup around the fair for people to watch all of the games on tonight, Saturday aND Sunday. I'd rather be in TS watching the game but I made a commitment like a lot of other people and will just have to miss it.

Yes, I think that the 35 - 45 thousand that are in attendance are true fans, and yes will probably remain for the entire game. What a memory maker!

I'd laugh my butt off it the game gets blacked out. Then all the fly by night fans would really have something to gripe about.

Why is it that no one is going? It's a game at Toger Stadium right? I don't get it

For MANY. Why do you think there are usually 20,000-30,000 people without tickets at every game just to tailgate?
