Fair enough. But the person I first replied to never responded. My guess is he doesn’t know the NCAA restrictions on coaches or even who our paid coaches are.

Probably not. Itd be nice if we were allowed 3 paid assistants and could keep cain and hire a legit hitting coach

Which means they were 6-13 outside the SWAC coming into tonight. The all time series is now 53-3 for LSU. LSU beat the same Southern team 17-4 earlier this year.
It’s midweek, so it really doesn’t matter much in the grand scheme. It’s also a terrible loss.

The amount of EXCUSES about other teams who wins and loses mid week games only to try and justify that it's "ok" to lose and the other excuses only facilitates losing, it's excuses by everyone, the coaches included when there should be accountability which there is none ...this is what lsu is becoming...for it to change the head needs to go...there is a pattern....we expect to win, now we start losing in state games the last few years in numbers and we make a million excuses and "accept" it....this comes from the top straight on down....
We are not an elite team , we are pretty much the same as last yr, the sec isn't what it was the last two years, it's down some, miss st and atm are over rated just like us....these dummies who say mid week games don't mean shite, these games can show character, guts and consistency thru and thru of which we don't show any of the 3 and our character sucks balls, sure we don't use our best on the mound(it may not matter)cause it's the mid week games and not the sec but the hitting and defense are the same as weekends but yet we show we can be beat by inferior teams consistently cause we can't hit for shite and we kick it around on defense sometimes....that's a huge problem that won't go away under this regime that runs the lsu baseball program...
