How does he know it’s not a 2 seam fastball or is he just guessing?

2 seem fastballs usually have some tail to them.
4 seamers are generally more flat.
Or he could simply be full of shite.

Tom Hart seems like a nice guy but he really sucks at calling baseball games. He’s not great at football either. He gets bored and I think he scrolls through his social media during plays. He just said Arkansas scored a run last inning.

Actually pitch rotation is very difficult to detect for most batters. It takes lots of years and experience and a keen eye for this ! Ball movement and arm action is the most used . You can really tell who played baseball.

And not just during games. I’ve heard him on local radio shows and he just exudes doucheness.
