What the OP is pointing out is the double standard for weed and booze.

Some of you people really have a hard time with sarcasm don't you? It is stupid that weed is treated like it is the same as meth, coke, heroin etc. when in reality it is much safer than alcohol. People don't like to believe this because of the bullshite propaganda they were taught in school growing up.

It's funny some people in this thread took my post the way the did. I think it points to average intelligence around here which we already knew was fairly low based on comments about Jordan Jefferson and Les Miles over the last few years.

I propose that not only should we drug test the players but also go to each underage players dorm on Friday and Saturday night to breathalyze them. Underage drinking is illegal and against school rules and is much more dangerous than smoking a little dope! If players under 21 years old are caught drinking multiple times they must be dismissed from the team!

Out of your fricking mind.

Real athletes and black guys don't want to go to BYU brah. They want party and football and no real focus or concern about academics...that's LSU.

You have 2 rooms. 1 filled with 20 alchoholics, and the other filled with 20 heroin addicts. Deny alchohol and opiates to both. In 3 days, which room has more deaths as a result from withdrawals? Some of you (to my amazement) still believe the propaganda. The alcohol and pharma lobby is one of the main reasons marijuana is not legal federally. It is legal however in several states.

Otherwise you're post is

Absolutely. Let's be consistent. If we're going to hold college football players to a higher standard than we hold just about anyone else in society, let's go all the way. DUIs are illegal and dangerous: automatic boot. Bar fights are illegal and dangerous: automatic boot. Speeding is illegal and dangerous: automatic boot if popped with a ticket.

Yeah, that most be why LSU is 2nd only to Vandy in the SEC in academic success of its football players.

Try your flame like trolling some place else, retard.

it's college... The players feel the punishment when they try to practice with a hangover.

I think I would reword the original post slightly:
"Will the TM7 incident cause LSU to rethink it's policy favoring Crimes Against Humanity?"
Yes or no answers only, of course...

If LSU's football culture is 'delinquent' - I'd hate to see what you'd call Penn State, Ohio State, USC, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, etc.
