Last years title game had lowest national ratings with two teams from southeast
They don't want to risk two south east region teams in title game again this year.
Clemson vs LSU would make them lowest amount of money with national ratings.
They need Ohio state to play easy 4 seed and advance to draw the ratings from that part of country when they face LSU or Clemson for the title.
Here you go, flat-earther. I'll post this AGAIN. How many south-eastern featured games do you see here? This is the top 10 rated games of the season. I'll make them bold for you so they're easier to count.
LSU-ALA 16.64M
OSU-MICH 12.42M
ALA-AUB 11.43M
PSU-OSU 9.43M
ND-UGA 9.29M
LSU-TEX 8.63M
OKLA-TEX 7.25M
AUB-LSU 7.18M
UGA-UF 6.98M
ORE-AUB 6.86M

Michigan has one of the best WR cores in the country.
That's high praise for a group whose top 2 receivers are ranked #98 and #107 in the country. Still better than OSU's 1 receiver in the top 200 (tied at #98).

So a 12-0 team that averages 4-pt score differential vs a 12-0 team that averages 30-pt score differential with VERY SIMILAR schedules are equal to you?
Are you really trying to say that LSU only averaged a 4-pt differential this season to make your point?
You're about 17 points off.

Ranked in what category? I'm sure that stat is not taking into account how bad their offensive coaching and QB play has been.

If LSU beats Georgia, we'll have 4 current top 10 wins.
Lmao! You think they are moving Alabama and Auburn back into the Top 10?!
Damn, it must be nice to be that naive.
The fix is in, dude. It was in last week when they moved OSU uo and talked about their 3 Top 20 victories when LSU had 3 Top 15 victories. They think Ohio State is better than LSU, and nothing is going to keep them from leaving Ohio State #1 unless they lose this weekend.

Compare Navy and Cincy and you see the clear frickery.
Both teams lost to Memphis by 10-12 points and got beat down by a superior opponent (OSU for Cincy and Notre Dame for Navy). And while OSU is clearly the superior team, cincy doesn’t get credit for getting skull fricked by someone good. So those 2 losses are a wash by both teams.
Both teams also have 2 wins against common opponents that are more or less a wash. Cincy beat UConn by 45 and Houston by 15 while Navy beat UConn by 46 and Houston by 15. Again, a wash.
But there is a BIG distinction for their other 3 common opponents. In total, cincy beat USF, ECU, and Tulsa by a combined 17 points. Navy beat those same 3 teams by a combined 92 points. Big win for Navy.
Now let’s look at the best wins on both schedules against unique opponents...
Top remaining win: Cincy over 9-3 UCF vs Navy over 10-2 Air Force... Advantage Navy
Second best remaining win: Cincy over 8-4 Temple vs Navy over 10-2 SMU... Advantage Navy
Navy has had the better wins and performed better against common competition while having equal showings in their losses. Cincy’s argument for being ranked ahead of Navy is razor thin, so their ranking is a great example of the committee artificially inflating OSU’s opponents.

National title games have fallen off because people are tired of Bama and they're tired of Bama vs Clemson.
BAMA vs Clemson
They would love to see OSU or LSU play Clemson.
Why do you think the LSU v Bama game was rated so high? Because LSU was up 33-13 at half and people tuned in to see Bama get their arse kicked - they love that.
2015 - OSU v Ore 34.148M (first playoff final)
2016 - Bama v Clem 26.182M
2017 - Bama v Clem 25.226M (rematch from previous year is less interesting)
2018 - Bama v UGA 28.443M (oh look, a new face)
2019 - Bama v Clem 25.280M (rematch again)
This year's playoff will have higher numbers just because Bama isn't in it - bookmark this.

Cincy and Wiscy currently overrated by 3 or 4 spots.
It will probably all work out after Sat.
