The whole reason we needed 4 teams is for years like this when defending champion Clemson can go undefeated and be left out. Or in 2011 when Bama and Okie State were separated by the slimmest of margins and the one with the conference championship got left out and went on to win the Fiesta Bowl for all their troubles. I didnt feel we needed a change in the manner in which teams were ranked, we just needed to add an extra slot or two because sometimes there were more than 2 deserving teams.

It nearly mirrors the BCS. Go with that, call it a day, and everyone knows how to get in the top 4.

Hmm, they don’t really explain how they came to the rankings, regardless, it does all look pretty close. I just assumed LSU would be 1 because of the polls advantage.
Shows that Wisconsin isn’t outrageous though, which is what I’ve been saying.
I honestly don’t remember that. Thought we had some solid discussion, but maybe that was just because I thought your username and avatar were GOAT

The guy is making some good points and backing up his claims with links and metrics. Even if you don't agree, nothing wrong with what he's posting. Part of what makes this site so great is that other school's fans can offer their opiniins.

Definitely.
Ita gonna be close. The only computer that may flip is Wolfe. 4 of 6 were Ohio State before last week and have been that way for a while.
If the AP and Coaches remain the same it'll be very tight or if Ohio State gains a few 1st place votes then it just solidifies it.

Exactly. I find it comical that people bitched and moaned about the BCS for nearly its entire existence, yet every year since the CFP was created, the committee rankings nearly align with mock BCS rankings.
I don't think it necessarily shows the committee gets it right as much as it shows the committee wasn't needed in the first place.

The people I watched the game with were dismissing OSU before the game and I kept telling them they were crazy. The "oh shite" look on their face when he broke off that long run was priceless.
