Has anyone been to both. How do they compare? Not the gameday atmosphere, just the stadium and annemitites.

That's what I thought. That's like saying the PMAC was "new".

Haven't been to either one, but followed them both online during construction. The new Tiger Park cost about the same to build as Turchin (in the range of $12 to $15 million). The New Alex Box costs about 3 times as much with almost twice the capacity.

The only thing not new are the light poles and their batting/locker room facility, which was not built into their old stadium.

The stadium here at Tulane is really nice, but everyone has to look a few times at the turf to figure out what the hell. I've been to both, and the nod still goes to the new box.

Tulane sells beer - including Abita on draft. My vote goes to Tulane.

You can find some pics of the new Greer Field here. LINK Impressive looking facility from the pics.

ETA: I would have more respect for Tulane if they'd ditch the St Louis Cardinals ripoff jerseys.
