Ranked #3 in the country and have a good chance to win it all. Do we need to improve? Absolutely and we will!

The team we’ve watched these first three weeks does not have a good chance to win it all. They’ve got to drastically improve offensively. Florida and Clemson were both bad teams.

This isn't a thing when your senior qb isn't playing well. I love Nuss.... firmly on the nuss buss but he hasn't played well the last two weeks. Our running game is a far bigger issue but no one expected Nuss to be playing as bad as he has this year.

That INT looked like a frustration thing last light. Not an excuse, you can’t do that but that’s what it looked like during the play and after.

BK has stabilized the program fast and we are a solid winner. However, the expectation is the playoffs this year. The offense looks anything but a playoff offense. The D looks excellent. But people are getting anxious thinking we will waste a great D if our offense is anemic when we need it.

We have too much talent to look like this on offense. Kelly knows it. That's why he is pissy. He brings on criticism with how he acts sometimes. If he acted differently in these situations, he wouldn't get as much shite. It's put up for shut up time now though with an experienced QB and a boatload of fast WRs.

I played football my entire life. If we were playing sound fundamental football on offense and defense at the same time, I would sing his praises but we are far from it. Not one team he has coached since he has been here has been sound on both sides of the ball.

Yeah... like I said last night... I will give Nuss every benefit of the doubt because this entire offense and season rests on his shoulders.

I wonder what does last night look and feel like if we handled the end of the 1st half correctly and we used the same formation on 3rd and short at the end for the 4-5 other 3rd and shorts we didn’t convert?

I'm with you. I think Nuss is very capable. Yes, he made a very bonehead pass attempt, but his problem is the play calling and the situations he is forced to deal with. For instance, in the 4th qtr. LSU fan the ball successfully for once for an 8 yd gain inside the Fla field of play. So what do we call next, a mid range pass attempt to the sidlines..incomplete. 3rd and 2. They we call a TE pass BEHIND the los that actually is complete and gains 1 yd. PUNT
That level of play calling is just so incredibly weak and incompetent, that it deserves firing on the spot...it was that bad, and could have completely cost LSU the game. Fortunately LSU db's bailed out the offense with 5 interception.....and BK calls that complementary football. What complete BS.
Nuss is a good passing QB if given sufficient time and receivers run patterns that work with the timing given by the oline blocking. Does he make mistakes...of course, all QB's under pressure make mistakes. We can do a whole lot worse than having Nuss as our QB/leader.

Win or lose, expect nothing but negativity from “fans”! They wanted Jay fired halfway through the baseball season. It’s completely ridiculous.

He kind of had an excuse the first few years considering the horrid lsu situation he inherited but this season is the put up shut up year. He clearly thought the offense was going to take a step forward from last year and went all in on the defensive portal.

Being the head coach at LSU is a results driven job. People take the job knowing that.
and right now LSU is undefeated, ranked #3 with a very salty defense.

What's the question again?

I don't like taking the opening kick off especially when Nuss seems like he has to settle in? Why do this? Also the last two wins we don't FINISH THE GAME, We did but we had two drives two run out the clock and thank God we had the pick 6's. I don't know BK personally and seems like an arrogant arse but he could be a ok guy? That's why I liked Miles, not much rattled him, laid back, O looked like a fun guy too, BK is the most Sabanish and he was a winner! Geaux BKLSU

While playcalling does have its issues... it seems like there are player execution issues that just screw us... like... end of the 1st half Durham doesn't make a bee line for the sideline and gets tackled in bounds; sharp doesn't turn upfield and get tackled short of the 1st down.

I'm not absolving Sloan because he is a huge issue.

I don't hate B. Kelley at all. I still beleive what I have said for 3 years: he is the definition of a 9-3 season. And what he said at the press conference
about that late running play as somewhat proof that we have been running the ball well was flat out childish.

I just see more examples of structural problems than player issues and this is year 2. I mean we had 4 NFL olineman, draftees, and couldn’t block the run last year.

He won’t win a national championship but he’ll make the playoffs. JD was the closest. Now he makes it whack a mole U.

Offense all time amazing / defense all time bad
Offense decent / defense well below average
Horrible QB / Questionable OL / great defense

He was the safe bet to turn around Orgeron’s mess. Look at Florida. I wouldn’t have preferred it any other way.
