Think that was the opener of 06 against UL. Fantastic throw.

As many have said MSU was a clinic by JR in 06, but so was Kentucky.

Absolutely murdered both of those teams and Zona too

1972 - Bert Jones to Brad Davis to beat Ole Miss 17-16 in the final 4 seconds. Story about the Pass by Jim Kleinpeter in the Advocate

1987 - Tommy Hodson to Eddie Fuller on 4th down in the Earthquake game to beat Auburn 7-6.

Hard to top either of those passes and I got to see both of them.

That was a ridiculous throw. LaFell's very first play as a Tiger too.

Mauk to Green agains UGA

This play and this game often get overlooked I dont know why, probably because it doesnt hae some name or was earlier in the season. But one of the best football games I have ever seen period. The talent on both teams was unreal. I had season tickets back in the south endzone and many of the UGA fans said it was one of the best games they ever saw win or lose.

Flynn to Doucet @Bama 2007

4th and 3. Flynn throws a laser. Doucet gives the defender the dead leg and ties it up.

The '06 Early Doucet non pass interference throw?

That's actually correct. After it happened, and people were rightfully outraged about that flag being waved off, photos taken from the endzone behind the LSU line showed just has short JR threw that ball. Doucet was wide arse open, and JR short armed it, and he had to come back and alter his route. When he did, the shite-storm ensued. Had he hit Doucet in stride he scores untouched. In the photos, you could actually see him sort of wince with his body as he realized he sorted the route.

Should have gotten the call, but if the pass was there it would have been 6.

either:
Mauck to Green vs. Georgia in 2003
Flynn to Byrd vs. Auburn in 2007
Flynn to Colt David vs. South Carolina in 2007 (lateral pass) or ANY TD pass thrown by Jarrett Lee in Death Valley during the 2011 season.

1964 LSU 11 Ole Miss 10
Ole Miss would only finish 5-4-1, but the Rebels were still respected. They were ranked #1 in pre-season polls. This was the height of the Rebels football prowress nationally. With the exception of the Archie Manning years, Ole Miss was never the same after this year. LSU was down 10-3 when Buster Brown lined up to punt with 7 minutes left in the game, but Doug Cunningham fumbled the punt and the Tigers took the ball drove for a touchdown as Billy Ezzell connected with Billy Masters for a touchdown and then he connected with Doug Moreau for the 2 point conversion. LSU held off one last Rebel drive to preserve the victory

This one is often overlooked. One of the most exciting games I ever saw in Tiger Stadium. Ezell's 2-point conversion to Moreau was incredible.
