hard to have instinct when you're told to abandon your instincts and only react to the O

For me, the biggest compliment for Downs was after that first TFL, he was double-teamed the rest of the night when he was in with either Alexander or Nevis.

Granted... it could be that they game-planned for Woods at that position, but .

Jumping from your other thread I would like to ask you who you would pick as your "dream" coach for LSU? Saban brought the BIG10 to LSU and won. Saban's teams were moved on between the 20s and tightened up in the redzone. Saban liked to run the ball run the ball bubble screen and then throw deep. Saban's teams lost to inferior teams and got toasted by better teams. Pete Carroll has only one crystal ball with all the talent. Bob Stoops cant win more than one. Do you want Urban Meyer? He seems to be the only coach who would fit your agenda.

I agree with this assessment - and let us see how this year goes before accepting even Meyer .

In 2003 and 2004 I distinctly remember quite a lot of discussion (not good ones too) about both our offense and our defense - All of a sudden everyone seems to have forgotten that and seems to just remember the chocolate flavored rainbow candy that comes out of Saban's arse.

at this point i'd love brian kelly, assuming he'd hire a real DC

saban's D was not a big10 D

our D now is a big10 D

yeah saban ran a conservative O, but at least we had a good/great D that caused negative plays

i enjoyed seeing some of the young kids get into the defensive line rotation (downs, edwards, aghayere)

cutrera was good

i miss patrick fisher

kw looked like 06 keiland at times

im not really worried about anything offensively, just hope the OL plays better and jefferson improves game to game

defense..

didnt really see any fire from chief or les last night, other sideline was coaching their asses off.

im just gonna sit back and somehow hope they improve big time.

Great effort... but has to learn to keep contain. Also, he's not strong enough to bull-rush on every down.

Keiland looked great.

I know Helton is on scholly, but using Jasper's end-over-end rugby punts at this point has to become an option.

no we can survive with a bad D and 30 yard punts, while calling timeouts to ensure temas can score
