The Beast went faster than it has ever gone before due to inclement weather.

I would like to see that motorcade from the air. I wonder how quickly they were able to shut those interstates down for the BEAST to start rolling. After all, it was a last minute decision.

Let's roll!!

Speed limit is 80 on I-35. Most do 85-90. My guess is they took I35 to US82 then over to Sherman and took US75 up to Durant. Even US82 has stretches of 80. So to go 100 isn’t far fetched the roads are built for speed.

No question, but to see that 1/2 mile long motorcade as the only thing on the interstate at that speed from the air would be quite a sight.

The press trying to keep up would be hilarious.

I tell you what that stretch of interstate 35 between the northern suburbs of Dallas and the Oklahoma State line is some of the narrowest roughest road in the country. I can’t imagine 100 mile an hour plus on that stretch.

With the engine and the weight, I imagine you can visibly see the gas needle moving down at that speed.

I wonder if they are going to have to stop and fill up along the way? Can you imagine the photo-op of Trump getting out at the Circle K.

You are right about that, but I doubt they took that route.

US-75 runs directly from Dallas to Durant.

Would be even funnier if the cops were radaring and handing out tickets to those trying to keep up

They came from Denton not Dallas. Would be smarter to go north 35 to 82 to 75. They could go 382 to 75 but it’s more populated and harder to navigate for a POTUS convoy
