LSU just doesn't have the arms this year to make a serious run.
That coupled with the defensive struggles suggests it might be a long off-season.

Okay. So...? Do you not want us to still give it our best effort? What's more embarrassing - not making the tournament or losing in the regional? We still have a young, developing team. We have talent, just not in all the places we need it. This season was/is a building year. Any post-season experience can go a long way for next year. Hopefully, with this great recruiting class, some of these studs at the crucial positions make it to campus so we can continue to get better. And, yes, we did get better this season. Not in every faucet, but overall we did.

I agree we need everyone hitting, but I think the arms need to get hot. Our pitching needs to greatly improve if we plan to make a deep run in the SECBBT in Hoover.

Ha Ha, we don't have enough pitching to get through a SEC weekend, much less a 6 day tournament vs those same teams.
