It’s a bunch of old gray hairs.

70% of people there are over 50.

-and then say wHy ArEnT yOu ThErE as if that has anything to do with

Yep. People don’t want to admit it comes down to limited fan interest.

It appears all the “wild fans” are in this forum complaining about the paying fans at the game.

Beat down by decades of poor teams. It’s hard to just ride from the ashes because of a couple good seasons.

It’s not that the crowd size is bad, the senior crowd on the sidelines just doesn’t know how to make noise.

I’m not sure they know the rules.

If I lived within an hour of BR I’d be at every game. This isn’t the JJ era, or the end of Brady. This team is good and talented.

Not baffling when you have a team on a losing streak that can't play defense and is sloppy on offense.

you're right because it was in section 216 not 215. 216 row d about the middle of the row, next time you're in the arena ask her about the guys she was complaining about at the Kentucky game. she'll remember.

Deaf dome is a shell of it former self for a team that is about to make back to back tournaments.

you have to win consistently for the casual fans to come regularly...right now its the Dale Brown era fans still coming in and they are too old to get loud all game...

Totally agree
I was there and ready to go, took my three boys on a school night
But no one wants to truly get into it
You are shamed anytime you stand
Pathetic

I guess they live in Joe Dean and Dale Brown “Twilight Zone”, waiting for a Tiget Clown to come rappelling from the rafters, conjuring the ghosts of the past!!!

‘member when Florida was a football school in 2006? I do too. Then they won back-to-back titles.

Michigan
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Texas
West Virginia
Wisconsin

I could go on, but all of the above schools have had successful basketball and football programs. Hell, look at Baylor right now. The fan environment at any of those places is better than the PMAC when they are good.

I want LSU to be an everything school.

Old people don’t holler that much.

I normally sit in the 200s, but was in the 300s for this game and it gave me a different perspective. I knew that the lower sections were mostly older fans, but I did not appreciate just HOW old and how much of a percentage it is until I sat above them and looked down.

That is a big part of the problem and, the problem with that problem, is that you can't ask people to not come just because they are going to sit and golf clap occasionally, not when you're having trouble getting asses of any age in the seats in the first place. But we do need a culture change; the PMAC reminds me of Texas football right now.

any if you guys complaining actually at the game?
it was solid tonight.... could be better but as op said.... a ton of time outs when we were getting it going..... And when we would get close they rally back up a 5 point lead and we miss a ft or two.
wade was very active ;) on the sideline!
students were there and stayed and loud enough and got in their favorite cheer.

Just win games!!! crowd feels it

and come on the lower level half court is older but they fill
it up every game and regardless of if wade of jj.

they got OFF the lazy boy and made it there!

It was dead all night. You could tell the crowd was just waiting for something to happen but Uk kept it on LSU. Sucked for sure from start to finish.

The PMAC has no environment anymore, it’s all a reactive crowd. There’s nothing proactively noisy or rowdy about it.
This is the best way to put it. People get loud at media timeouts and that’s about it. There is no sustained noise.
