I can see this, if Glenn doesn't wake up Broussard is our next best (Safest?) option for the weekend probably. Also, Chinea could produce well at DH for a year then take over at catcher if Ross goes high in the draft in 2013.
My only major concern with this lineup is 3B, Evan Powell basically didn't play this year and would be a stop-gap guy probably.
If Gallo made it to campus, which he isn't, this line up would be pretty sick top to bottom.

I don't think this was a slump. I think it was more of the SEC knowing he can't hit breaking balls this year as opposed to him being fresh last year.

Lol I'm as shocked as the coaches about Jennings. Something odd there.
I think mccune just struggled w location this yr. I think he will be ok.

Mccune will be a challenger for a weekend spot next year. As a freshman, he was our most consistent starter. Let's not forget he was our FRIDAY starter last year.
And there is no reason to talk about any outfielders being cut before next year. Especially a player that is currently in our starting lineup as we are making our run to Omaha. I understand that we lost a starter to injury, and he will be back, but I'm certain that we still have a roster spot for all of our current starters with remaining eligibility.
