When you and ForeLSU are on the same side of a debate, I re-think my position, if it differs.

When all three of us are in agreement, we are obviously wasting our time responding to the other side.

How do you think this guy missed my point? Surely a lot of people in an argumentative mood today. His response to you looks about as appropriate as his response to me.

Sorry to disappoint you two tools, but I am neither arrakis, nor 50.

And wahoocs, you're right it wasn't a horse collar tackle, but that has nothing to do with whether or not he got inside the pads or just inside the shirt.

Can't the ref, I mean the actual one, the one with the white hat, over ride other refs or line judges? This guy reminds me of someone else I know. Just on a power trip.

That would be Steven Patrick

His boss is Steve Shaw, the coordinator of SEC officials. Steve Shaw is an Alabama graduate. Now with the SEC office in Birmingham and a Boss a bama gradute how else could any of the officials kiss their boss' arse than by making him happy by suspect calls on the field in favor of you know who?

Chances are that all the officials are trying to be fair but just the prospects of what could be, why have anyone who graduated from any SEC school have that job?

We need an elephant suit and some baseball bats for the next time Mr. Patrick visits Red Stick.

It was a new rule and it was called. Shut the frick up about it!

bam

The truly sad part of all this is that all the moron LSU fans complaining about the call would be screaming the same way at this same guy for failing to call it against an opponent. I love being a homer, but a biased homer is a sad, sad thing.

Did you just ban a guy for arguing a point like everyone else in this thread (board) simply because he disagreed with you?

You must say backcatcher, no doubt.

Look, if this call results in a marked decrease in any on field celebrations, and players get the message attempting to be sent, AND crews of officials stay consistent with the call, I'm all for it.

But, let's take a look at how consistent this crew was on this play. If we use the '09 LSU/Georgia celebration calls as an example, would this not be a prime example of those calls, and should not they have been called in this instance, in addition to the taunt call?

This whole thing is a Pandora's Box. You're widening the gap of consistency amongst members of the same crew, much less different crews. Every crew is going to have the "I'm going down with the ship, kamikaze" official like 62zip, and a more seasoned common sense official not seeking attention that didn't gain respect from the coach he wanted it from.

Let's just see how this plays out. Obviously, the calls in '09 didn't have the intended effect.

Well, from your first response to me in this thread, you should know, I'll be the one staking you out.

You might be one of the good guys, but I doubt it.

I actually think you can see the sense in this, but are too prideful to admit it.

Looks like he did and from what I hear it is not the first time. What a shame and a detriment to what makes this board good.

To be fair, "You don't own me. I do what I want. Get the frick out if you don't like it." is not a good thing to say to a known admin in general.....

The Locker call just doesn't seem to be in dispute at all. That is actually one of my favorite plays of all time.

So is it the defense's choice of when to assess the penalty? Seems like they so rarely take it on the PAT.
