We have at least as good a chance as ULM did last year against bama in their own house. You cannot dispute that.

You know, sometimes it is hard to be a fan when you come to other fans boards and have to be lumped into the same category as some of the knuckleheads that are so adamant about Alabama's chances. I mean, damn guys, lighten up. No one can say for absolute certain that Bama even shows up. They did play down to the level of our, "gimme" games.

Of course I hope they win, but I am one that thinks even a 1 pt win will be satisfying. LSU gives us our biggest challenge to date.

Yes we are proud of the progress that has been made this year, but don't go buying tickets to Miami yet, it ain't over till it's over.

The "Saban" thing is an obsession by them every bit as much as any LSU fan. The media here are pumping this as much as anything and the UAT minions are arm in arm about "we've got your coach".

It's a different thing I think.

LSU fans are mad about Saban. Bama fans are acting like an older brother and teasing LSU to get a rise. My mom always told me to ignore it and they'll stop. It's only fun when it gets a reaction. Obviously it's still getting a reaction.

unlike the bama team that played KY, Tulane, and Ole Miss this year? What is it with Bama fans and selective memory?
I just hope the Bama that played Clemson, W. Kent, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Arky St comes out to play. Tulane was an obvious letdown game after Clemson that we still won. Kentucky was an obvious letdown game after Georgia that we still won. Ole Miss we completely dominated the first half and obviously let off the gas in the 2nd half, which nearly cost us, but we still won.

It is highly doubtful that the guys show up unfocused, looking ahead, and unprepared for this game. All of the other crap aside (Saban blah, blah), this game is for the freakin SEC West! We win this one, we win the West. You win you step right back into the spotlight. This game is going to be a war, and imo the team that runs for the most yards wins. I am very nervous about the game but also VERY excited. This is how the SEC needs to be. Especially rival games. We both need to be good. So, here's to a great game between football powers (Historically speaking. Maybe we will start to hold up our end of the bargain), and hopefully no matter the outcome everyone can be good sports about it.

(On a side note, I hope we destroy "The Hat" and hang 60 on you for the first time in who knows how long. RTR!!!!!!!!) j/k

I don't think there are 5 Alabama fans that don't believe they will win by at least 21 pts tomorrow. Everywhere I go ,"you ready for your beatdown ?"

Its exactly same thing down here.

I live on Dauphin Island, AL, and the Buma faithful do think they have our coach, I hear it every day. They tell me to get ready for the arse whooping, that ya'll old coach has for ya'll, etc. I tell them that they don't have our coach, that they actuall have a coach that used to coach our team, but chose to go to Miami to find out he couldn't hack it. Oh well, arguing with a redneck is like arguing with a big Budwieser beer can, in that you feel stupider after the arguement. And as you walk away from them, you realize that their mentality IS that of a beer can. Saban is their second coming of Christ.

Thank Wayne Huizenga and Nicks "Amazing Performing Ego" for that. Saban knows leaving LSU was the biggest mistake he ever has or ever will make. Just too bad Rich Rodriquez didn't take the Bama job and Saban could have gone home to coach West Virginia...........

They don't have anything else in that state to follow, so it's sort of a default position.

Most Bama fans have seen us play. Barely beat them last year at their place with a much better team.

I hope it all changes for this game but I am not optimistic.
