The two he wanted most didn’t offer. Miami & Clemson.. this makes me wander how good he is? Maybe they slow played him a bit then he got hurt idk. I imagine he wants the ball in that Miami game pretty bad. He seems to be wkin very hard to earn carries early.

Hey so far it’s been a great spring for LSU. Fulton will be the cherry on top. The injury bug needs to stay away n fall camp. So far I think this is a year that LSU catches some breaks.

Curry was a 4* on the sites I have looked at. Not that it matters though
LSU has had many freshman running backs run crazy right out of the gate! of course many college teams have
RB is one of the positions you can just go
If Curry blows up
If Joe hits the field throwing darts from the get
If our WR group is as Hot as I think they will be
We might score 3 TD's vs Miami maybe even 4 TD's against that bunch with the TO chain staying in the box!

There are three reasons but you didn't get it right.
It's the offensive skill positions:
1. Quarterback. No one knows whether Burrow is the savior but the other three looked pedestrian at best in the spring game and in the reports from spring practice. Couple this with our current streak of subpar performance and this is reason #1. Until we have a legit player at QB, we will not get the respect we deserve. The flip side is that if Burrow comes out and is quality in our first three games, there will be a rapid ascension up the polls and a lot of stories that start with, "LSU always had the talent. But now they have a quarterback."
2. Running Back. This is my personal reason #1. For the first time in years we don't have an elite running back. Brossette has been a career backup and has never looked good. CEH looks shifty but he lacks experience and his size makes you question if he can carry a load beyond being a third down back. Provens and Curry all have promise but, let's be real, (1) no one has any idea of where they stand and (2) they were not elite recruits.
3. Wide Receiver. Here is where the optimist says the media is sleeping on the Tigers. We are loaded with guys > 6'2", > 200 lbs who all run like the wind. Giles is a legit #1 but the national media has forgotten about him since he sat out 2017. Davis, Sullivan, Anderson, Jefferson are all beastly but to date none of them have reached their potential. And the rookies (Chase and Marshall) both could be All-Freshman SEC. But again, this unit has not produced and appears to be just raw talent when compared to what, for example, Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn and Bama return.
Our defense is top 10 nationally. Our O-line is stout and deep. If Burrow is the real deal, if 2 or 3 WRs emerge (which is related to Burrow being the real deal) and if we get production out of the RB corps, the sky is the limit.
But those are a lot of IFs.

Actually you left off the biggest reason, and that is the narrative out there that says lsu is #120 in returning starters, out of about 128. It isn't true, but most of the media doesn't bother doing their own homework.

I cannot handle that type of stupid. Hes legit the worst person on this board.

That's why I'm convinced that it's Space Cowboy. He used to do the same thing all the time. Twist one thing into another and then continually repeat it over and over and over no matter how many people tell him it's wrong.
I once told him that just because Ensminger was a good play caller, that didn't mean he was going to be a good OC. He spun that into me saying that you can be a good OC without knowing how to call plays. It was just like earlier in this thread.

that's cool but at my house I got it right!
pre-season is all about what we think right now
If QB play is good/very good with Joe you are right
Sky is the limit - Good QB play as in Drew with my Saints - Up-grade all TE's and WR's
This is the Big something that has been missing
If CEO is the coach when this turns around - He is in like flint and you can call him stupid all you want as he get 5 years extended 5 mil plus a year!

If he gets the program back to winning big games and competing in the west and winning the SEC then he would deserve a contract extension.

The only person I've seen that is THAT incapable of following a conversation is Space Cowboy. That has to be him. I refuse to believe two people in this world are that dumb.
Listen "moonbat", Kristy (Pensacolatgr) is really smart. She has a great education, and is very fit for her young 50 something years. You don't have to believe me, just ask her, she'll tell you what's up.
And then she'll be there in Dallas, waiting to show all you haters where the bear shite in the woods.
Got that "Einstein?"

If LSU scores in the 40s vs Miami, the SEC will be keeping a very close eye on what's happening in BR.
