So much hype leading up to that game. Afterwards it was like we didnt even play. Its hard to explain the feeling. I felt robbed.

I agree. Felt horrific thinking how it would be 2 full years before we’d play them at home again. It would be 10 before we finally won at home and I didn’t even get to go :lol;

Same. Been to TS plenty of times and that was probably the best atmosphere I’ve experienced besides Florida in 07.

Totally agree. Was a junior in 2012 and will always remember that as the loudest, best atmosphere I was a part of. Scott Van Pelt had an epic post game speech about it for those of you who are younger.

I took my daughter to her first game in Tiger Stadium in 2012. She was 11. We left our home in Florence, Alabama when she got out of school and drove way into the night…scalped some tickets, and watched an incredible game…she was literally standing on her chair the entire 2ND half. The energy in TS was electric. The Yeldon screen was demoralizing…it was a sad drive back on Sunday and I remember telling her “You just witnessed the best game and the worst game in Tiger Stadium, all in one”

To this day in my 13 years as a fan, I’ve never seen an atmosphere in sports like that night.

2012 was definitely unique because of that and we wanted it worse than anything in the world. Was the most sickening loss I've experienced there (followed closely by 2014). But even though we had 2019, we still had not beaten Bama at home in over a decade when we met in 2022. We were so unbelievably sick of losing to them at home and so hungry for a W against them there. We were shocked to be in position where a W would almost give us the SEC West under a new coach and so there was all the excitement with that too.

It was just a great tailgating scene and buildup all day, then a hell of an exciting game which I believe had 8 lead changes which obviously climaxed on the 2-point conversion which will go down in history as one of the most electric moments imaginable. It was pure bliss.

He was just saying that was the sickest he’s ever felt after a game.

Same and it’s not close. Was my last game in the student section. Most intense pregame I’ve ever witnessed. Sat in my seat for a good 30 minutes after that one ended until they cleared us out.

I legitimately wanted to smash windows walking out of TS that night. I didn't, but I've never been so frustrated after a loss. I was at the Dome on 1/9 and, while that loss was getting, it did not provoke the same rage.
