Totally agree. Was a junior in 2012 and will always remember that as the loudest, best atmosphere I was a part of. Scott Van Pelt had an epic post game speech about it for those of you who are younger.

Could it be that a running quarterback won’t be our kryptonite anymore?!? What an opportunity for us to fix our biggest weakness if Baker stays. Imagine Lane saying, “Blake, here is the biggest weakness in your game that we exploited this year, now let’s go fix it.”

That would be a seriously short-sighted and stupid mistake as he is incredibly important to recruiting. He is possibly one of the most connected coaches in the state.
