Get off his back! Geez... It's not like he missed on purpose.

He shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. This was a team loss. There's more than enough blame to go around to everyone. That was a sloppy game.

You can't expect these retarded mother frickers to have the slightest clue.

Yes, he missed a lay up. And a lay up is easy. But he had no clue if he had 2 seconds, or .2 seconds to get that ball out his hands. None of the arm chair complainers you see here have ever played basketball past 3rd grade, and you are right...couldnt make a lay up in warm ups.

Good post, although you'll get blasted.

He should have made it but no one feels worse than him. It was already a bad day for the kid.

I agree guess there is no more Admins on this board. I made a comment once about a football player and my thread was yanked in no time, so WTF?

Not yet he’s just 7-4 right now but by midnight you’ll be correct.

Lindsey Scott makes that shot every time.
And he’s only 6’5”.

Its the same as a free throw. Shooting a free throw should be as easy as can be, but shooting a free throw in a game is way more difficult (can't really simulate the pressure in practice). And a free throw with the game on the line is much much much more difficult. Same applies for a lay up, or any shot when you are trying to beat a buzzer. Its a mental thing, and the truly great players can ever come it and they live for the moment.

Nobody is more pissed off at Epps than Epps is at himself. If he's not hurting and working to get better from it, then he probably doesnt have a future in basketball.

You can point to tons of missed free throws, missed shots, and defensive mistakes that happened from other players which would have made that last second lay up not needed. Anybody who blames it totally on Epps is a complete and total moron.

He goes from career game/TD hero to missed a shot/TD A-hole....yep, some things never change.

I agree as a fanbase we need to lighten up when our players make mistakes and support them. Epps has been playing hard and well and then ran into a buzzsaw in the second half today capped by the missed layup at the end of the game. However your reasoning is as fricking stupid as I have ever seen on this board, and that's saying a shitload.

Lindsey Scott can throw a football over them mountains, run a sub 2.3 40 with a bear on his back to the other side and catch the ball he threw.

Motherfrick anyone talking bad about Epps. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever been around. There was a reason CWW was practically choked up talking about his success after the Houston game. When I see LSU fans talking shite about a senior player like Epps, it really speaks volumes about the type of person they must be in real life
