The lack of want to answer questions directly, or even at all doesnt leave me happy. They all looked at each other everytime a question was asked

Yep, because they have no clue what they are doing. They did all of this on a whim with no actual plan.

This press conference won't matter at all. Dumping on LSU will be the trendy take. I'd be willing to bet you’ll hear more than one pundit say tomorrow something to the effect - “LSU is a mess. What coach would want to walk into that?”

They literally just did that on ESPN today.

This woman named Heather if she's any coach no way she comes to work under this mess. Then Rodgers said no way Kiffin comes to LSU and LSU will have to think outside of the box by considering an OC at Ohio State or even crazier considering Kellen Moore from the Saints, because his scheme would work better in college. He said the pros are too star driven, but in college he could make the players great.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with any of this. I just regret LSU gets so much negative press.

What’s really interesting about all of this is that- we’re actually seeing the disconnect of college football from college education. Technically, state government should have a lot to say about state funded universities, but major universities now have their own funding sources and are completely separate in so many ways from a normal college. Almost like a semi- pro league for the NFL rather than a university accountable to the people funding it. Separate living, separate education requirements, separate legal standards, etc. Maybe the NFL should start funding some of this.

they have the money

this right here, the numbers surrounding all of the "superstar" coaches look mind boggling to us lay peons but it's really chump change to the heavyweights calling(funding,) the shots

He said his directive is to get the best coach out there and he insinuated that a performance-based incentive contract is not a requirement.

So…exactly what Woodward did to get BK. Then don’t bitch when it’s another big contract. And don’t get angry four years from now if the coach doesn’t work out.

Just wait until tomorrow. That will be when most people learn about this story.

Yeah wouldn’t want ESPN to say anything bad about LSU. That’s never happened before.

They are always chomping at the bit to negative report on LSU.

None of what happened is their fault, but they’re here to clean up the mess and all seem pissed off from the events that have transpired.

I trust those three men to lead LSU at this time and succeed.

They just fired two very high profile, very high salaried employees. I'm sure there's a metric shite ton of legalities in how they answer certain questions right now until buyouts are settled.

Probably the correct answer. The BK buyout is being negotiated so you don't want to give his side any leverage.
