Exactly. Smaller DBs make a “business decision” in how they want to try tackling that guy.
I still believe breaking Dickerson’s record is far bigger deal than anyone is giving credit to.

But Dickerson didn't play a 17-game schedule. If Barkley had broken the record this past Sunday, then all the credit to him.

Barkley will likely have less carries (379-345). Which will also give him better YPC.

And to be fair the record was set in 14 games then Dickerson broke it in 16, so I have no problem with Barkley breaking it again in 17.
