LOL, Brady signed Spencer. Who else do you want Trent to play? He's already been forced to give a walkon significant minutes.

and losing with them also.....No doubt Trent is a good, above the average coach and LSU will come around. He won big last year with Brady's players. The team just did not look good tonight.

But Trent plays him!!!!!!!!!!! you tard.

If you think Spencer shouldn't be on the court you are down right clinically insane. He's having an off season and still is one of the top 3 best players on our team. And would be in most SEC starting 5. This is ridiculous....

Butch Pierre, not Brady, earned Taz's signature..... Brady had nothing to do with it.... Butch is his GodFather

what should Trent do? jesus. some teams just have better players than us. Xavier is one of them. Give the guy time. I'm not saying he's better than the following guys, but Trent did something in year 1 that Saban, Miles, Bertman, and Mainieri didn't.... he won the SEC.

I am clinically insane, thank you! And Spencer does not need to be on the floor. You approve of his shooting air balls all the time?

I thought everyone knew this was going to be a rough year for LSU basketball. TJ is rebuilding the entire program.

I think that is the understatement of the century. I mean, in his first full recruiting effort, TJ nabbed 3 players out of the top 150. For a school like LSU, that is huge. And you know what? I'll go out on a limb and say that not a single one of the 4 TJ recruits transfer. We all know a certain LSU basketball coach was notorious for running off good talent.

Don't thank Brady for leaving the cupboard bare; thank the Brady Bashers for that one.

Do you remember all the commitments who changed their verbals when Brady was fired?

Do you remember all the years the Brady Bashers were calling for Brady to be fired and all the years potential recuits were told not to come to LSU because Brady should be fired and can't coach?

After almost a decade of trashing our basketball program, the RANTards have finally called off their jhad against the LSU coaching staff.

The RANTards can take credit for the empty talent cupboard, so take a bow

You are just too much some times, Cat.

For leaving the cupboard so damn dry. Thank God for next years recruiting class.

One of the most stupid arse comments ever posted on this board. Trent Johnson inherited a cupboard that most new coaches would love to inherit. He was left an SEC championship team that was HEALTHY. He inherited an incoming top 25 player in J'mison Morgan who promptly requested his release. He inherited 2009 commitments from top 50 player PG Tommy Mason Griffin and dual sport star Brandon Mitchell, both of whom decommitted.

Trent Johnson has done an excellent job as LSU coach in many ways. At this point in time his recruiting is suspect despite the stellar group signed for the coming year. These recruits are talented and show promise for the future. None of them appear to be a premier type player and history has shown LSU's most successful seasons occurred when there was a super player leading the way. Right now his recruiting looks like Vanderbilt south.

Brady has been gone almost two years, this is Trent Johnson's program not John Brady's. Now if you want to see an empty cupboard take a look at what was left to John Brady in 1997.

It must be stated tht at this same point in his tenure Brady had signed Stromile Swift, Jabari Smith, Jermaine Williams, Collis Temple III, Brad Bridgewater, Lamont Roland, Brian Beshara, Marquis Ledoux and Willie Anderson. Trent Johnson had signed Chris Bass, Eddie Ludwig and Aaron Dotson.

Time to end the snide and snarky Brady rhetoric. Get behind Trent Johnson and hope that he can at least match Brady's ten years then compare if you must..

Vanderbilt? LSU's 2010 class is ranked 12th nationally according to ESPN and that doesn't even take the addition of White into consideration. I'm not taking a dig at Brady but he would likely still be at LSU if he could have kept guys like Monroe, Augustin, Dunn, Stevenson, etc in state. Brady had most of his success with top flight players from in-state. In Johnson's first two years, the state hasn't had any elite recruits. However, that should change in 2011.

He signed lots of good players, was it his recruiting ability that got him the job at Arkansas State?

Can someone provide me with a link to this top-fligt talent in the state next season? This isn't a flame, stromile, but I can't find them. However, 2012 appears to be loaded.
