The defense SCORED THE TYING TD despite being down 6 starters to a team that won 9 games and ended up second in the SEC West.
2 of their losses were to BAMA and Clemson - you know the teams playing for the championship.

Minus the final play in the first half, he was masterful. I don't know if there has ever been a time where a team in a bowl game had this many starters/role players missing.

Dave is a draw for elite recruits. Makes the other coaches’ jobs easier in terms of recruiting. It’s easy to sell kids on playing for a tremendous coach like Dave

Those are the defensive scoring and efficiency rankings. I'm sorry your dumbass bought in to the narrative that this was going to be the best LSU defense ever that was created on this board.
#24 in scoring (top 15 without a 7 OT outlier) and #12 in efficiency is very good. Borderline elite.

It's easy for people to criticize him, even O to throw his head set down like it was so obvious that we should have been in zone.
Apparently, Aranda knew 1 half before anyone else that it was better to play man and go for the sack than to let Ucf throw against wide receivers playing CB.

Oh so maybe they should put an asterisk next to any teams that play OT? How many teams ranked above us played OT games?
Better yet how many of the defenses ranked higher than is allowed a 90yd TD drive to go into OT

I can guarantee none of them played 7 OTs in the entire season. Hell, let's cut the 44 OT points in half and only count 22 of them. That still puts LSU in the top 15 in scoring in the country after the aTm game.
