I generally don't care about the announcers as much as, apparently, a lot of other people do. But I can't stand to watch a game that he is calling. A 4 yard pickup on 2nd down in a 0-0 game at the 13:00 mark of the 1st quarter is not cause for some hyperbolic commentary.

Herbie and Fowler need to see someone else play. Having our game 3 out of the first 4 weeks would have been a little much!

Listened to him a few weeks ago. He has definitely turned down the excitement factor. Hopefully it continues tomorrow evening.

Serious question...if you don't like Tess, who DO you like because I genuinely can't think of an ESPN/ABC announcer I'd rather have outside of maybe Fowler.
