There is no way it's only $40 when its over $50 in most counties to register a vehicle. The $30-$40 will be on top of te registration costs, meaning it would bring it up to about $100/year for a toonces plate.

Thanks, but I think a bumper sticker will do just fine.

It is my understanding the the $40 charge is on top of whatever you normally pay. I have never had a specialty plate, so I don't know that much about it.

Great news. It's about time. Us LSU fans get tired of seeing all the Texas college plates when we want to display LSU.

good for you texas I was in on the drive here in MS for ours . we have had them just under a year. We had to get 200 people to sign and pay $50 up front. You will enjoy them.

Latest word is that the plate is $30 extra per year, not $40 as I previously thought. They are gearing up to distribute the pre-order form. I am hoping we'll have them soon.
