Texas A&M fans buy up all the RV passes. LSU fans don't get any

Has anyone else tried to get an RV pass this morning? I called the Cotton Bowl office this morning and was told that RV passes went on sale last week and that since Texas A&M fans already knew they were in the bowl game, they purchased all of them and are now sold out. LSU fans basically get the short end of the stick and there is "nothing they can do". I called the LSU ticket office about this and they essentially had no good answer for this and told me to call back later in the week in case something changes. This is CRAZY! How is one fan based completely shafted and no one is really gonna do anything about it?

Screw them! They need to pony up some passes or we should back out of the Bowl game. As much money as they make off these bowls they are doing a horrible job of managing the Cotton Bowl.
Isn't this suppose to be a wonderful Fan experience for both teams leading up to and during the Bowl Game? How can you not give both teams the equal amount of RV and Parking Passes? Do they not understand the importance of Tailgating for the Cotton Bowl Game?

This seems to happen with every bowl. Our opponent gets at least a week jump on us because our bowl choices never get done until after the SECCG.

But the Capital One Bowl had a bad field last year. LSU hates the Capital One Bowl. LSU loves the Cotton Bowl!!!

welcome to texas. they screwed us and are probably laughing about it. inviting a&m a week early was a sure sign we are going to get hosed by the cotton bowl. no telling what else happens. i sure hope we don't get big 12 refs.

Personally, I can't make the bowl trip to neither Orlando, nor Dallas. So it didn't make a huge difference to me. I just thought we'd match up poorly with Oklahoma St or Nebraska, however, that didn't happen. I think we match up fine with Texas A&M or Michigan State.
The problem I have is with many of the posters that claim to hate the Capital One Bowl and wanted LSU to lobby for the Cotton Bowl. I doubt very seriously that LSU asked the Cap One Bowl to not take them. I feel slighted by them for taking Bama instead of us, but I'm not too upset because it could work out fine for LSU in Dallas because of it's location.

man, there are some whiny fricks
it's A BIGXII bowl game that invites an SEC team, not the other way around. They get 1st dibs, and can do whatever in the frick they want. They arent governed by some NCAA by-laws or any sense of duty or fairness.
they're looking to make money, plain and simple

You're sounding much more reasonable now. I can understand that. It wasn't a slight though. Cap One probably didn't want to have the same team play two years in a row. And I don't think I'll forgive them for that field last season. Ruined the game for both teams.
