Broussard’s caught stealing/ pick off wasn’t a baserunning error.
He was going on first movement in order to get the best jump. It’s a gamble. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but what he did was intentional.
It might have been a bad call but it wasn’t a mistake or an error

The problem is the “sometimes it works” statement. It doesn’t seem to work for LSU.

That’s because we very seldom use it which is why we got thrown out stealing all the fricking time.
That was the first time I remember us getting picked off all year.
If you’re going to steal a lot of bases you’ve got to go on first move a lot.
