Great win by the tigers. We looked like a totally different team tonight, and that's without one of our best players in Josh smith. I'm proud of zach Hess coming out tonight and showing he's better than he played his last time out, and our bats really came alive tonight. I'm excited about the rest of the season bc this thane am will continue to improve as the games go by. Geaux mfn tigers!!!

well, it's finally happened. the pitcher "mitt pop" epidemic has reached lsu with will reese. that goes in the category of other silly athlete habits
blowing into a closed fist in warm temperature
wiping off the bottom of basketball shoes
qb licking throwing fingers
hitter putting up hold sign to umpire and stepping out of box
hitter relaxation routine of staring at bat logo and taking a deep breath
receivers doing some kind of constant hand motion before snap
i was hoping this would never happen at lsu. regardless, he did well.

Last night a Texas batter put his hand up towards the ump to ask for time just as Hess was starting his motion and the ump did not call time out.
