Today is the seventh game of the season and LSU has nearly equaled its number of passed balls from last season when it played 72 games.

Stop throwing BP fast balls will definitely be a start.

I’m trying to figure out what Peterson and slaughter have done to deserve their positions on this team. I can’t think of anything accept that they’ve been on the team longer than most. Slaughter has proven he can’t hit for 3 seasons now. Peterson started 3 games in his career before this one and i guarantee those were Johnny wholestaff starts on weekday games. WTH does Mainieri need to see to pull them from starting 3rd baseman and Sunday starter?

This is slaughters sophomore season and he did pretty well in the CWS last year but don't let facts get in the way. And I'd rather Reid play over him

Slaughter is a sophomore brah... glad to see you've been paying attention.

Idk how people ever thought that Peterson should have ever been a starter to begin with. He got rocked every outing last year and has gotten rocked in both outings this year. Dude is just not that good.

So you wouldn't have moved Louis Coleman to the rotation in 2009?

Well in Peterson's case no one else has stepped up. When we get healthy that may change. In Slaughter's case it's all based on potential and it being early in the season. If this was late in the year I have no doubt he would've been pulled by now

Just not very impressed with Peterson. Gotta think someone from the bullpen replaces him next weekend

What about Caleb Gilbert? He was bad in both of his starts. Zach Hess is the only starting pitcher that redeemed himself from the Notre Dame series.

We also started the season without Feduccia & when he came back I’m sure there were nerves & possibly soreness

I think it will improve, it’s very early in the season

I'd like to see Beck get a weekend start but he may be more valuable coming out of the pen and throwing twice a series
