Now lets compare NIL payrolls say in the last 2 years of both teams and see if gay &M got their money's worth.

Aggies are way more arrogant than Texas fans. Odd considering they really don't have anything to show for it. Their arrogance has always been amusing.
A&M used to be a great school but it's somehow slowly turned into a diploma mill.

Thirteen years ago the Aggies bolted the Big 12 in what their president called a "generational" move. They were breaking ties with the University of Texas -- forever, they thought --because Texas had finally crossed the line with its $300 million Longhorn Network. Enough was enough, the Aggies said, and they headed off to the SEC to supposedly seek their own identity.
So how, exactly, has that gone?
The Aggies have won nothing of note in 13 years. No football championships, not even a trip to Atlanta.
They were horrified when the SEC announced it was adding big brother Texas. "That's not fair," A&M fans everywhere said. I'm guessing their administrators said it to Sankey, too.
They finally accepted it, though. They had no choice.
So here they were Saturday night, expecting to show "texas university" how the new normal was going to be. Kyle Field was going to propel them over Texas and into the SEC title game and all would be right in College Station.
Except....well....Texas kicked their asses.
Texas 8and4 is, in fact, 8-and-4 again. The Longhorns proved their superiority in front of 90,000 Aggies, launching an existential crisis in Aggieland of immense proportions.
The Texags cult can say what they want, but the rest of the college football world knows that A&M, despite spending millions and millions, just has never figured it out. It may never figure it out, frankly. And they have no business trying to lord anything over LSU, which has three national championships since 2003 under three different head coaches.
