We need to sacrifice another lesser poster's e-life in order to redeem yours imho. I vote for Bad Cat as the sacrificial lamb.

No...go ahead and cash in on it. Then in December, when you have to live up to your word for the other promise, somebody who knows you will let us know. You'll even get your thread stickied on the OT for a while in remembrance of you.

i should be a man of my word like Les when he lied about calling for the "clock it" and blamed it on a teenager.

There were apparently mitigating circumstances regarding Toliver's health. I would like to hear more input from Mitchell613 and moneyg before making any rash decisions. Right now we need to adjourn for lunch--or at least I need to adjourn for lunch.

FWIW, I planned on making fun of Lacour if LSU averaged more than 30 ppg last fall (which they almost did), since he promised that he would stop posting if they did. But it was just for fun--no Shylock type enforcement necessary.

I think people are being a little harsh on both sides here. Heated statements from years ago occasionally get made. People bring up heated statements from years ago to have a good laugh about it. No biggie, people, although it is quite entertaining. Not bad for an April/May thread.

Now I gotta go find myself a sammich...

The little crew of protectors is so cute. I would say that posters (you and max included) who have 30,000+ posts and make e-bets involving their posting privileges, are true RANTARDS.

Why are you still posting?

ETA: I don't know what makes you more gay: the fact that you felt you needed to make a pledge to never post on a message board again if a particular thing happens or that you didn't honor said pledge.

Tell me- when you wear your sword on D&D night, do you go with straight cardboard or do you cover it with tin foil to make it look shiny?

If Max has to quit posting, I am pulling up threads from 08/09 when people said "If LSU doesn't win 10 games I am not gonna post till...." and call them out on that as well.

Sorry but the gayest thing here is you and others wanting him quit posting because of a thread over a year ago.

his riding of Hester in '07 was equally as annoying as SFP's pimping of JR.

JR is likely teh best LSU QB of all time, or at the least, the modern era. show some respect

I think they both know the taste of crow by the flock.

why would i know what crow tasted like b/c of pimping JR and saying hester shouldn't have been used as much?

did you watch the kentucky game?

LOL this shite reminds me of the kind of things people bring up to bash a political figure from 20 to 30 years ago. 18 months is 25 years in TD years.

That said, Max failed miserably on the prediction. However, it is understandable since TT had the measurables physically, but his approach to the game and character issues were insurmountable in the draft.

Also, I find it interesting how many teams placed an emphasis onm character this draft, such as Fairley falling. There were a few notable exceptions (Newton), but for the most part, teams avoided the divas and problem players unless they were a steal.

I mean are people that chickenshit that they have to resort to online cliques for "protection"?

what?

i have no idea what you're talking about

while max and i may agree about a lot of stuff in terms of LSU, we disagree about plenty else. this same pattern is true elsewhere. there are no "cliques" running "protection" for each other

people with common beliefs will join in during ridiculous threads like this b/c it's hilarious to watch people melt down and get so personally offended because of another's opinion.

The JR hate is insane, it feels like his NFL failure provided an avenue for many people to come out against him.
