State has a good offense

States offense is ranked 44th in the country. Not great but I didn’t guess it’s the worse either. States offense won’t even be the 3rd or 4th best you face all year. Only team with a top 20 offense is FSU and you lost.

Sounds like an even better challenge. House wi have us in position to win. I hope execution is up to the challenge.

So does UGA’s dominance get relegated because of a bad performance at Mizzou?

I don’t have the stats in front of me from the FSU game but IIRC we did pretty well stopping them in the second half, which is the point. We can’t keep starting slow. And part of the reason State is ranked in that spot is bc we held them to 16 points.

We are #1 in the SEC for defensive TD’s

ETA: and red zone defense.

Tenn secondary is horrible but their dline is good. Also have shown they can pass rush heavy when need be too. They're not a good match up for LSU. Their strength is our strength, their weakness is our weakness alongside our bad Oline with their good DL being a strength. However, their DL may be deceptive since their secondary is so bad it boosts their stats up. They can get after the QB though.

LSU has played slow all 3 big games including the defense so they have to play good immediately or Tenn is going to kill us early. Best thing LSU can do is control the LOS somehow and move slowly methodically with a run game. Control the clock, keep it away from them, score. Hard to do though when their DL is a strength and our Oline is a weakness. Not a good match for us. Either Daniels finally grows eyes that can see the field and throw anticipation routes or we're fricked. Has Daniels completed a deep ball all year? It feels like no.

Look at the ranked total defenses they have played. That’s why they are number 1 in offense.
Pitt- 32nd
Akron- 125th
Florida- 109th
Ball St.- 111th
We have played a lot better defense than they have seen and pretty much all ranked higher than their defense.
Florida St.- 33rd
Miss St. - 37th
Auburn- 35th

UGA has actually dominated EVERY game outside of Missouri. They absolutely pushed oregons shite in. Y’all look good (better than us) so far but y’all won’t win shite this year in the big scheme of things.

Meh. Ran it up on Akron and Ball State. Barely beat UF and Pitt. D should be able to keep things under control but the offense has to show up before the 3rd.

Our passing offense is worst than their defense…

What stat is that based off? Because if it’s yards allowed that’s probably got more to do with the style of games they play being high scoring so teams are running less

I can’t wait until we stomp Tennessee because their fans are like Texas fans. Every year they claim they are back. Tennessee almost lost to Florida. Y’all aren’t as good as your fans think you are.

I’m not saying we’re back until we have 2-3 seasons where we compete with anyone on our schedule. I doubt we’ll ever get back to where we used to be because college football is a lot different nowadays and if you can’t recruit at the level Bama, UGA, and OSU do then you’re probably not gonna supplant yourself in the top 5 year in and year out. I do think we have a team to be happy about in our coach’s 2nd year, but I’m not delusional. We haven’t played the toughest part of our schedule so there’s no reason to be claiming anything yet.

They called off the dogs early in the 3rd in both these games. Probably could’ve dropped close to 100 if they wanted to. Ball St game, walk-ons played the majority of the 4th.
