I get everybody's upset about the Florida game, but where's the excitement for this game that was sold out 2 weeks ago? A top 5 team in the country is coming to the PMAC for what could be the deciding game in the hunt for an SEC Championship! I'm fired up and can't wait to be there on Saturday!

This team can bounce back from the Florida loss. They'll be fine and this will still be a helluva game.

I have no way to back this up, but im convinced that this game decides whether we go to Jacksonville or Salt Lake City.

LSU is the 1 seed with a win on Saturday so it’s a pretty big game. It sucks LSU may have lost their chance of winning the SEC outright but to have the 1 seed over those Tennessee and Kentucky fart sniffers would be pretty big.

Thats why you have to win these Florida type games. The SEC race is too tight and Kentucky and Tennesee are too good. By not beating Florida you take it out of your hands and hope someone else loses. You dont want that situation. Not bashing the Tigers this is a good season.

LSU wins this game they are in first place , tied with Kentucky and Tennessee, but ahead do to head to head . Unfortunately though I think LSU will have to win out to stay in first . Tennessee or Kentucky will get at least 1 more lose but I don’t think any more than that .

No, it shouldn't lose any luster because they still have a chance to win the conference, but it's frustrating as hell seeing this team lose 2 games at home that they should have won I feel. They lose both games to teams that were struggling at the time, but they come into the PMAC and strangely get hot from outside like a lot of teams have strangely done this season. Lol I don't know what to make of that, is the goals in the PMAC a BBall magnet or something for the opposing teams. Lol Also, LSU's defense continues to be suspect, you can't keep leaving people shoot 3's uncontested like that. Last nite they had the size advantage with Bigby-Williams and Reid and failed to use it regularly on these people. They should have kept going low to them all nite and abusing their shorter lineup, getting them in foul trouble all night.

UF gave LSU two things they hadn’t seen much if at all this year: extended zone defense and double teaming big men. The zone kept Waters from penetrating at will, hence the relative lack of Gator foul trouble, and Naz was slow to get the ball out of a double team (this may have been his first experience being double teamed by actual adults). We’ll see how the team reacts to this type of approach no later than when they go to Gainesville.

Two other odd things that had to happen for UF to pull off their well-earned victory:
1) LSU shot below average from the line; there would be no OT otherwise.
2) UF got several unusual offensive rebounds. LSU is a great team on the boards, and when a long range shot goes up, they block out well at the spots where shots usually come off the rim; many of UF’s 3’s bounced long, resulting in a frustrating amount of Gator second chances.

shite happens. Geaux Tigers.

I'm talking more relative overall than specific, and relatively speaking they (Florida and Arky) were struggling, and LSU should have beaten both imo "if" they had played much better games like they are capable of. But LSU just needs to shake it off and get ready for Tenn, they can do it because they've done it before. What's done now is done! Let's

We should be beating Fla, but it's still all in our grasp.

Right now, we're tied with UK and 1 game behind UT. If we win, we will be 2-0 against them. They play again this year, and one will lose.
If we win out, no matter what any other team in the conference does, we will be at least tied for the SEC championship. And we'd be tied with a team we beat head-to-head.
