They play in the east. No team they beat was good in that division for the last 30 years. Georgia finally got decent (and lucky). Tennessee finally beat Florida after what was it, 25 years? They haven’t had a competitive game in their “rivalry” (term used very loosely) with Bama in like 30 years….

Yes. The same Pitt which lost to Ga Tech 2 weeks later. Other than that Tennessee has beaten Ball State (2-3),Akron (1-4) and by 5 vs Florida.
Tennessee beat Akron 63-6 but Michigan State beat Akron 52-0.
Pitt lost by 7 in OT to the Vols but Pitt also lost to a bad Ga Tech team by 5 (26-21).
I don’t see all this Tennessee Bandwagon hype as anything but just that. Hype.

Just like their unbeatable BaseVols. When you haven’t won anything for suck a long time, a little success goes to their heads. We will bring them back to earth in both sports this year

These statement are absolutely false. I’m not into moral victories, to say they wasn’t competitive for 30 years is a flat out lie.
