Armani Moore gets his 2nd foul early on. Barnes smart enough to keep him in.
Simmons gets his 2nd foul early on. Jones decides to bench him for the whole damn half.
Therefore TN, in their arguably worst half of the season, is within 1 possession.

I hate SEC refs, I really do.

Victor struggling mightily he could score 30 today open every possession.

we're being lazy with our feet at times but this "freedom of movement" emphasis makes me want to stop watching basketball altogether. hand check calls are what's separating us from a game ending 15-20 point run. we've had multiple opportunities to do so, only to be derailed by a flurry of bad calls/lazy reaching

With the way they're calling this game, Ben would be fouled out by now.

DidJJ tell Blakney not to shoot from the outside of what.... Dammmm

My God. Is there a worse team at finishing at the rim? LSU has been attacking the rim at will (as they should), but they can't get anything to fall. It's been a problem all year.

These refs literally saved Tenn.
Frickin pitiful!!

Victor is one of the worst finishers around the basket I have seen.

Yep. I actually like the look of ER and CV down low in this game. At least you have someone down low for an offensive rebound instead of Ben up top pretending that he is a pg. At least ER sets screens as well

In this game, benching Simmons was smart.

Not in a zone defense.

If we can guard the three point line it's a blowout.

If I could I would literally walk up and taser those refs in the face! Basically slowed the game down to a crawl because LSU came out smothering them.

Here is the sloppiness.

I've never played basketball. I'm barely even a basketball fan (just an LSU fan). Can someone explain the rationale behind keeping one of the best players in college bball on the bench for a game where your entire season is on the line??
So what if he starts getting in foul trouble? If he is going to foul out, he's going to foul out, so why not play him as man minutes as possible? at this rate, you are just preventing your best player from playing on what....a worry?

If you don't think Simmons has been setting screens all year, you're delusional.
He's also the SEC leading rebounder, by a lot.

Also moron Johnny Jones hasn't called a timeout time out while Tennessee is coming back on us.
