After the first 2 innings, I just had that feeling that it was gonna be one of THOSE games. Unfortunately I was right, the 10 run deficit was too much to overcome. But we got the series win, that's what matters.

I don't rewatch losses, and I especially don't want to rewatch this one. We got the series win, I'll take it.

Pearson and Kling should get every start over Jobert for the rest of the season. Jay’s obsession with Jobert will cost us some games.

I think Kling looks healthy and will probably be back in the lineup. And Pearson will get plenty more opportunities. I’m a huge fan. But something’s still not quite right with him yet. He hasn’t driven a missile into the bleachers yet this year like he started doing once he got in the every day lineup last year. He’s uncharacteristically skying infield pop ups that he didn’t do last year. He still has good ABs and draws some walks.

But what if I told you Jobert is hitting almost .30 points better than him, is slugging .200 points higher than him, has a higher OPS, and an almost identical OBP. I think Jobert should sit for a while except for the occasional PH if we need him to try to run into one. But there’s a reason he was in the lineup today instead of Josh.

Maybe Josh tweaked something yesterday. Maybe Pearson actually hits lefties better than righties this year (he doesn’t pull off and has a really good approach against them). I don’t know. But I just don’t accept it’s because Jay is stupid and doesn’t know what he’s doing. He had a reason, whether we agree with it or not.

I love Pearson. I’m not gonna argue he should sit in favor of Jobert. I’m just suggesting there was a reason he did today, and unless Jay tells us, I’m not sure we’ll know it.

Jobert has been cheeks, Carl. He hasn’t really hit since early in the season. He will have his moments but it can’t be in an everyday role

I'm with you all the way on us getting 3 tough series wins out the way and I thought it would get alot easier but tbh next weekend we get 8-1 SC then next low flying 7-1 ( chance to sweep Missouri tomorrow) UK Back to back so..
No cupcakes yet, btm of schedule I hope clears up nicely.
